I bought these and they stop your phone from moving around, no matter how you throw it into corners.
You can push the stalk away from you to toggle high beams on and then again to toggle off. From my experience using push both times makes it less likely to accidentally turn off the lights.
My driver's door button was replaced under warranty just after my 2-year service back in September. They will quote you a fee in case it's not under warranty but it's covered.
Since my reply, I have found that you can also push the stalk forward to switch back to low beams, which makes this error much less likely. Basically, just push the stalk to toggle, don't pull it.
Found this one on Amazon for powering multiple devices, reasonably long lead too.

The hotspot is not automatically enabled when you're in the car, you need to swipe down and enable from the screen menu. Not much of a hardship but you need to remember to do that before you can use it.
This happened to me a few times when I first had the car, totally my fault from flicking the stalk too low down and accidentally moving the wheel on the back. I now only touch the stalk near the end and have not had the issue again. You could always put some tape over the back of the stalk to...
The Trophy eye tracking thing was part of the drowsiness monitor which would alert with bongs and the coffee cup symbol. I thought the early SEs also had the tracker.
On the phase 1 Trophy there is an infra-red sensor on top of the steering column, it tracks your eyes to make sure you are looking at the road. This is what caused so many issues with false alerts until the software update.
It should also be tied into monitoring things like late braking...
I have the Motorola MA1 and had issues until I had my head unit software updated to the latest. My Bluetooth would constantly disconnect which made using wireless AA almost impossible. I'd definitely recommend you update to the latest software before trying an AA dongle.
I completely understand where you're coming from, not much snow around for me either but I think the All Season tyres give so much better grip in the wet too. The difference to the standard rubber is really noticeable and gives me much more confidence in all conditions.
I had my rear tyres changed about a month ago, I went for Bridgestone Turanza 6 All Season via Black Circles. What a difference! They are so much better than the standard rubber, it's crazy to think how much better the grip is in all conditions! I'll be changing the fronts to the same next year...
I had my Trophy updated to R59 last week, the ACC is still incrementing by 5mph. Do you think the 1mph change is something from the "secret" menu? I'd much prefer the 1mph increments for the short press, that just makes it much easier to use.
During the early summer I drove a lot with the AC off and the windows open, managed to get a predicted range of 344 miles (this is a long range Trophy not extended range) on full charge. Don't think I would have achieved that but I'm sure it would easily go about 300 miles.
MG4 Trophy collected from Drive Bristol North on 28th September 2022, just coming up to 20k and 2nd service booked for mid-September. Mostly trouble free, no oil leak, did have a minor issue with the head unit (related to DAB), unlock button on driver door stopped working recently but is being...
I've had this too from day one, definitely creaking from the right side of my drivers seat, not a rubbing sound. I've never bothered to try and track it down, so would be interested if anything can define exactly where these creaks are coming from.
If you really don't want to use the rear seat belts, get some of those clips that plug in to the socket which prevents the warning. You can get them on AliExpress, Amazon might have them too.
