Close but not quite right, the SE SR has a 125kW motor driving the back wheels, the SE LR and the Trophy have a 150kW motor driving the back wheels, the X Power has an additional motor to drive the front wheels in addition to the 150kW motor at the back. Not sure about the ER but assume it has...
A long shot but you don't have the keyfob in your pocket and accidentally press the lock button? It will sound the horn when the car is locked, not sure about when driving.
Thought I'd add my tuppence in regard to LKA. I had always kept LKA off since I got the car last September, it stayed off because it's a Trophy and running the original software. It went in for a service on Monday and all the software got updated, so I was thinking I'd have some issues with LKA...
So my Trophy is in for it's first service today at 8,500 miles on the clock, they have listed four software updates to install. The courtesy car they've provided is a 21 plate Corsa EV, must be close to a range topper with all the features it has. It compares to my MG4 as below:
Ride is...
There shouldn't be any need to lock the car or shut it down from the screen in order to start charging. That said, some people have experienced some issues with rapid chargers and have tried different methods.
Just ordered mine, went for the 01 design too as I wanted to keep it simple. I'll add a bit of clear textured polyester film when it arrives.
What is the process of removing the old one? Is it just a case of gently levering it up with a plastic prybar?
The first service on my Trophy is booked in for the middle of September with Drive Bristol North, quoted price is £79.20. They do charge £9.95 for the courtesy car but thought that was a pretty decent price.
Not sure if different on the SE but my Trophy will just start charging as soon as you plug in, no need to lock, you can have all the doors and boot open if you wish, sit in the car, lock or unlock, whatever, it doesn't matter.
From memory my Ioniq first number was 16 after LOW, I never set it high enough to find out the top value. I think the values in my 4 are out by about 3 degrees also, currently set on 22 for the nice weather we're having and would have been 19 in the Ioniq.
I've found that the volume controls on the steering wheel change the audio that is currently playing i.e. navigation if it is currently giving directions, or radio/music if no directions are currently being spoken. That's on Android Auto though.
I think the 18" wheels are going to give a harder ride, I quite like the 17" ones we have now. All the other stuff doesn't bother me at all, I have lived without a rear wiper for the past (almost) 4 years, I rarely have 5 people in the car and the ones I do carry don't seem to mind there are no...
Personally I find the sound to be really quite good, enable virtual subwoofer and crank the sound up and it's better than my previous Ioniq with a premium system. Like any sound system, it needs a bit of tweaking rather than using the default settings. My phone is a Pixel 7 with spacial sound...
The boot can be opened independently of the car locking when you have the key on you, just press the boot release, you don't need to press the boot open on the fob, it locks again when you close it.
Eco mode will prevent you from using power above a certain level, it flashes up a warning message, so you need to be careful when pulling quickly out of a junction into a gap in the traffic.
