We've had no end of trouble with our Rolec Wallpod (and MG ZS EV Long Range) since buying it two years ago. After several 'repairs', Rolec are now suggesting that it's because the car has a DC leak.

I'll give this a thumbs up. We got the same one to take our two golden retrievers and it's great. All I would say is add a blanket underneath if the dogs are wet otherwise it soaks through!

From my experience, Type 2 charging (regardless of the kw it says on the charger) will only do approx 7kw for the MG (for the reasons above). CCS will always be faster, but if you have your level set to 100% it slows down to 7kw for the last 10% apparently to protect the battery. Others have...

Mine changed over to kilometres, changing it back to imperial in the settings seems to have fixed that.

So, an update on my charging woes. We tried to use a public charger over the weekend (first time since getting the car) and had no success, in fact ended up with the dreaded system failure message and couldn't use the car. AA came out and plugged in their computer and cleared the fault code...

@riizzle Did you find a suitable scanner? We had the same problem on Saturday at a public charger, AA came and cleared the error. Don't want to be caught out again!

At least it's not just me then! The problem with the sat nav is that you can't change the destination mid journey, even the passenger can't interact as the keyboard is rightly not available when driving.

Not a phone problem, unless all four phones I tested had the same issue! The garage had to use an adaptor as well for their iPhone lightening cable.

The UBS-C ports wouldn't connect to my phone using a standard USB-C to USB-C cable. I ended up having to get a USB-C to USB adaptor, and then use a USB to USB-C cable. Only that way would the phone charge via the USB-C port.

That's happened to me as well. I was logged out, logged back in and now it won't connect. I've sent feedback via the app but not expecting to hear anything.

I just received a letter from our dealer offering service plans for our new ZS EV, but it looks like it's their generic one, not MG specific. On the basis that the MG service plans are coming in May we'll probably hold off.
