Yes since i have had the car , its really been the 1st time i need to defrost / demist the car in the morning , so im still playing around with the heating.
You can use the defrost / demist button , and i then change the temp from low to 25 ish , but this starts the ICE.
Once it clears then i...
Yes the HS phev has it. I personally like it as when you stop ( for example in traffic) the auto hold ( handbrake?) comes on , so you can take your foot of the brake pedal. When you touch the accelerator , then it releases and you start moving.
I decided not to get a 7Kwh charging point installed as the phev cannot use the full benefit of it , and as stated can only use 3.7 Kw max due to the limit of the charger on the car.
The granny charger delivers 2.3 Kwh , so you are basically paying £600 for 1.4 kwh faster charging , which may...
went camping recently , and had to follow the warden ( who was on his bike ) to my pitch. He said he loved the sound of the car ( I was in ev mode) as it sounded futuristic in a si-fi way
The granny only needs to be on for 5 hours on a phev. So the 5 p deal is great, I have the go faster , 5.5p a kw and got the time range 20:30 - 01:30 , so perfect for the phev.
If it saw the charger plugged in , then the lead out the back of the car on the picture you sent , would show bluey green.
Just to make sure , you are not using an extension lead ( is this what you meant by power adapter?)
I have to agree with Electrickery , its no use planning to stop to top up as its so slow , unless you can top up at your destination for free, for the time you are there.
So I manually switch between EV mode and hybrid mode , when I go on longer trips than the ev range ( I did manage 36 miles...
hi suds 32 , no there should be no issue. I use the type 2 connector on a free pod point 7kw charger here in the UK. I personally open the charging port , then lock the car , once locked I connect the charger cable until I here it lock .As a double check I look at the dash to see the charging...
I unlock car , open charging flap , then go to get granny charger. The car then self locks by the time I'm ready to plug granny charger in , hold plug for a few seconds while it locks . No problems
you would have thought they could take the part (that did not work) out of a car they had to sell ( or a test one) , so it would get your car going , and when the part arrives they could fit it to that car.
I thought there was no problem with the ZS , I know thee was an issue for the MG 5 , there were stated as cosmetic only. This has now been updated ( as they have passed certain tests) and can carry 75kg i think.
Hi Kazuki no it does not come with mats or locking wheel nuts as standard.
I negotiated the mats in free when I brought my car.
I must admit I never thought about locking wheel nuts at the time, as I thought all cars came with them , and was surprised it did not come with them.
I got some universal ones
Maypole 1.2m 90kg Locking Aluminium Car Roof Bars Cross for Profile Flush Rail
They are £55 and do the job , but I think any universal ones of the same style should work.
I used them and travelled a return trip to wales from Birmingham with a full roof box with no...
