Hi AntWD , yes the same colour as my car.
I have had the service plan for peace of mind from my dealer Paul Rigby ( Erdington) , as who knows what will happen in 3-4 years time as the EV market is moving fast.
My thoughts ( rightly or wrongly ) was if in 3-4 years the full EV market starts to...
Is it me , or have others changed the way they drive slightly .
What I find I'm doing is using the regen to slow down as much as I can ( obviously using the brakes when I have to ) as its a good feeling that I'm slightly recharging the battery.
Obviously you have to be aware what's behind you...
Yes I'm with Henri8 on this re the blind spot sound warning. If you drive down the motorway or duel carriageways it would always be going off as cars overtake you and would get so annoying ( a bit like lane assist) people would probably turn it off. But like most things if they are configurable...
I have to agree with dragonfly on the responses given.
Also o improve the sound quality turn off sound stage, Its in the Audio settings next to the EQ settings
I think most people who have the phev are pleased with it ( I have seen no comments on this forum to say otherwise) .
It will be interesting to see your views after a few weeks coming from the full EV.
Do you think having a full tank of petrol , when only driving in EV mode make much difference?
The reason I ask is I try to only have just over 1 gallon of petrol ( to stop the low petrol warning when turning on) ,when I'm just doing my normal local mileage as I think the extra weight of a full...
I agree , but as far as I know , if you start the car put the heater on to defrost , the ICE starts. So if you are like me and it a frosty day , you then go around to scrape the ice off the windows . By the time you have done this the ICE will be pretty hot and blowing out hot air. Once the...
there is plenty of information on here and I'm guessing you have read on the phev forum but below is my general thoughts re economy.
I know below is the same for every phev ( so I apologise now , if you feel this is like teaching your grandmother to suck eggs .. henri8 I wonder how this will...
Hi electrikery no I've only had it a couple of months so not had to demist in winter. I have demisted it with a lo setting so the engine did not come on. I seem to charge it every couple of days using the granny charger and keep it in EV mode on all my short trips.
Due to this forum I knew the...
But like all cars they have their good bits and bad bits. It's up to you to decide whether the good bits outweigh the bad bits , or the bad bits you can live with.
Yes it's not good . I suppose in the end it's what criteria does the camera / AI look for to define it as speed limit sign . Obviously the camera is seeing something that fits this criteria , hence showing a wrong speed limit.
In the UK the speed signs are round , I assume it's a European standard .
Unfortunately the speed assist camera doesn't work 100% accurately. It sometimes picks up side road signs ,but normally if I see a speed sign , it does as well . The satnav is only as good as the day the data in it was programmed, so it is out of date if speeds change. So in the end there isn't...
Yes its a shame they did not put a facility in the flap where you could put the plug cover in.
Its also the same in the petrol flap , nowhere to put the petrol cap apart from letting it dangle down against the body work.
Apart from having to use an iPhone ( I personally don't like them) then your app Paul looks great , and I wish we had it . I could do the hello mg but not sure I know any Thai though to do the voice commands lol ?
I noticed that as well , but I only use acc in traffic ,(which is great and relaxing once you get to trust it will break lol ),so I wouldn't expect much regen anyway.
very strange same car different specs. I know Henri8 has mentioned front sensors on his ( where we don't have this on the uk version ) , so even within Europe there are differences.
I think we have android auto , not sure if Paulin Thailand does, hope he can confirm.
