My 2023 mghs phev is 15 months old now. I plug it in and full charge it everyday and it is still saying the same range 62km as it was when I bought it.
What is your mpg over high miles or kms though ? its easy to get high economy readings on short distances. Photo attached is 2504 kms accumulated km with the total 0.4 litres / 100km, which we achieve all the time
235.215/(0.4 L/100 km) = 588.036 US mpg
:)
On your remote, push the unlock button twice. If the plug is stuck and not able to be unplugged, do the same. Sometimes my plug is stuck as well and a double push frees it. I would think the pin retract would be the same.
I gave the dealer a call and they checked the ones in their yard and theirs are the same so its normal. Just shows, I drove it for a year and didnt notice it before :)
Is the reversing camera adjustable ? someone closed my boot hard or in my garage I have carpet strips it opens onto as the garage roof is low, now its showing the bottom of the number plate is in the bottom of the camera screen. The MG logo hits the carpet first. There is no dents anywhere. Can...
Not really, at the time I purchased electric was out of my reach money wise. I am happy with the phev I purchased. I drove a full electric mg when they serviced mine last month and I was glad to get back to my PHEV :)
NP, to get to that 0.4 I plug it in as soon as I get home and charge it to 100% every night, most of my running is around town in EV mode which is also why i'm getting high kms out of a tank. I use around 50% to 60% of the battery a day I only use hybrid (auto) on a trip. As a bonus as I have...
Many $$ - I filled up the other day 6/3/24, I still had 2 bars left in petrol and had done 3163kms before I had filled up before on the 18/7/2023. I am getting 0.4 litres / 100km mostly in EV mode and 5.1litres / 100kms on a trip. Most of my driving is in ev mode. It took 31.68 litres to fill or...
My mg phev is just over 1 year old now and it still shows the full kms to travel from a full charge. that total hasnt changed at all so no degradation.
We also have a tesla powerwall battery on our solar in the house.
Tesla warrants that battery if it drops below 70% in 10 years then they will...
In NZ they have 2 models, excite standard or essence with sunroof, larger wheels, electric boot, fog lights and some bling options. Both cars are the same specs apart from those extras in the essence. The difference in price at the time I purchased was over $3000 nzd for the essence which I...
NZ new 2023 MG Hs phev excite. We bought it new 1 year ago for the EV mode.
The biggest plus we find is the phev 62 km pure electric travelling.
Nearly all of our running is around town in EV mode and we plug in and charge to 100% daily.
In EV mode 0.4 litres/ 100Km's (500 mpg = 0.47 l/100km)...
The first time it happened to me I was in a petrol station forecourt and quite a few people tried and they couldn't get it off either and yes we were following the instructions to the letter. MG has replaced the petrol cap and I filled up the other day after 3500kms and I still couldn't get it...
The car starts the engine to charge the 12 volt battery if needed. I actually have mine set to 19deg. When I first bought the car it was set to 22deg and it was warm but the engine was starting up while driving along at times, because I wanted to stay in EV mode as much as possible I dropped the...
Just had the first 12 month service done on my Phev. It was cheaper than I thought $417.30 NZD.
They gave me a 2023 Mg ZSev as a loan car.
Differences between the HS phev and the ZSEv I noticed were.
My 2023 HS Phev has a lot more room inside and was more comfortable.
The ZSev was touchy on the...
