My dealer assured me all software updates had been done when my car was serviced last month. ;)
I specifically asked about the CSS? CCS? update for charging at Tesla superchargers, but as yet I haven't been able to test it.
From the BBC website article:
"Motorway electric car charge point target missed, says RAC"
"Jonathan Goodman, UK head of Swedish EV firm Polestar, told the BBC's Today programme that the charging infrastructure was a "critical part" of getting more people to consider an electric car."...
I was only suggesting the app for Europe as EVsince2016 was talking about ZapMap in Europe. All the European charging stations listed in Chargenow (apart from Tesla). It also has a proper routing function showing the available chargers for your particular car. I won't use the Chargenow app to...
Chargenow seems to have a good routing and trip planning feature. Uses Google Maps for the navigation. The best is you can choose the charge operators you prefer.

Not with series 2 charging stations, which is why I mentioned it since coulomb mentioned it. My dealer here in Germany doesn't charge, so it seems its just those greed B___t__ds in the UK.
I think you may be wrong about MG charging for the update, I suspect it is the UK dealer that is charging. I asked at my dealers and he said that ALL firmware updates are free of charge. I haven't had the opportunity as yet to test on an 'open to all' Tesla supercharger yet as even the 150 kW...
No, the charging station needs to be a series 3 charger. Thats the one with just the CCS connector and no Tesla connector. Apparently the older series 2 chargers give problems. It also needs to be open to Non-Tesla cars. These are shown in the Tesla App.
I did mention the error I had at the local Tesla chargers and told them of a supposed update to allow charging at Tesla charging stations. They told me they would apply all updates (free of charge), but that I would have to test them on Tesla's chargers to see if it worked (this was done as part...
First service last Tuesday, all updates done. Everything works still. Yet to try charging on Tesla superchargers, will get around to it in the next few days.
Supposedly all software updates done on Tuesday. Still have yet to test on Tesla supercharger.
Updates were free, cost for first year inspection was 178 euro 153 pounds.
