Thanks, I'll look for the marker. I already have something similar for my jack.
later...
Indeed there were the little triangles and all went well. The only embarrassment was that I didn't notice that there are plastic bolt covers on the wheel bolts that need pulling off with a pair of needle...
My FL has done 20,000 miles and the fronts look a little worn at the edges bus still have lots of like left in them. The rears look almost new. So, I'm thinking of swapping fronts to backs. I have a small trolley jack and some axle stands. Is there anything I should be especially wary of if I do...
Its not a problem for the battery charging to 100% at home or away but, as you say, on a rapid charger it will be very slow for the last few percent. The other thing to consider is that batteries don't like being left at 100% without being used. I have mine set to charge to 80% which is more...
I'm fairly confident in saying that the dealer won't know. They may even claim that they don't know what you are talking about. The only way to check it to try it at an open Tesla site (the Tesla app won't show you closed sites if you don't have a Tesla). If it doesn't work then get back to your...
I'm fairly sure that when I'm away from home and charging on a rapid charger it doesn't normally need the car to be locked. I've definitely sat in the car drinking a coffee while it charges.
Yes, the Facelift model has timed charging, but the original version doesn't
Depending on the speed of you short journeys your 5 hours of cheap granny charging is going to give you 30-40 miles of range so you can probably keep up with your usage most of the time. If you are getting a new MG5...
It looks like you haven't given the app permission to use your data.
Although the app is the same, the way it looks and the things it does are different for each model. I don't really know anything about the MG3 but when the software has had a problem and my car cant connect to MG's servers I...
I wouldn't. There have been some horror stories of the callipers not being wound back properly and the electronic braking system failing. I think it is one of the jobs that I'd get a main dealer to do (although I'd also trust Cleverly's to do it).
Quite a small sample and the really expensive one was a Shell who are generally the most expensive anywhere. The real shock for me was a visit to The Netherlands where the Tesla chargers were extremely cheap by UK standards.
I don't think it will let you do anything with the gear selector unless your foot is on the brake. Im quite happy controlling the regen with the accelerator pedal and if I get bored with that I'll put the car in traffic jam mode and let it do it for me.
It does make you think a bit differently when you realise how much mains power you have at your disposal. I was camping at a festival this year and took a small induction hob and a kettle and my son brought along an electric pizza oven.
