What sort of driving are you doing? If you are around town at slow speeds it could very well be telling you the correct numbers. If you drive at 70mph for a while I expect it will change dramatically.
Its worth trying locking the car before starting the charge. It doesnt really need to be locked but locking the car will make sure the cable is properly locked into the charging port.
Energy recovery is the same but KERS 3 requires more accurate pedal control but less moving you feet over to the brake pedal.
Keep checking the figures when on ACC - My MG5 Trophy definitely recovers energy while on ACC but the MGS5 is a completely different car so anything is possible.
I had a problem like that a year or so ago. The fix at the time was to go into the climate section and move the temperature slider up or down a degree. For me this was fixed ages ago and it has been fine since.
Is it just me or has the software stopped highlighting the posts that have unread messages in them. Up until recently the titles were in a bold font if they had unread items.

Are you by any chance having trouble with the radio? If so then disconnecting the 12V battery for a couple of minutes might fix both things.
By the way, I think the 12V only gets charged while the car is in ready mode or charging. Once the main battery has stopped charging it also stops charging...
I think you've been unlucky. It sounds like the car thinks there is something wrong with the HV battery and if you've been given the choice of a refund I'd take it.
That wasn't the case when I had a catastrophic failure recently. They sent a local firm to recover me to safety (a petrol station on the A2 which to be fair had food, drinks and toilets) and then sent the same company a little later to recover me to home. They did come themselves a few days...
I can't get my FL to do it. The car doesn't seem to want the HV turned on while it's charging. My guess would be that the safety implications were considered to be too difficult to bother with.
It has never happened to me but from reading this group for the last couple of years my understanding is that the car is trying to protect its battery from some unusual event. If it isn't just a software bug then it will be something like driving very hard when the battery is nearly drained. Or...
