I'm fairly sure my FL Trophy doesn't do that. I suppose its possible that the feed is interrupted for a moment but it definitely doesn't need to be switched back on.
I run an single induction hob, a kettle, and occasionally the Ninja Pizza Oven. (not all at the same time - the pizza oven is...
I think that it will sort itself out but will take a few days. I seem to remember people saying that when you force the unbind it tries to contact the current bound user giving them an opportunity to reject the unbinding. As the current user is you - there probably wont be an objection.
The adaptor locks itself in place like the charging cable. I haven't used mine in the rain but I have left it plugged in for a couple of days while camping last year.
I'd get and extension for so you can keep in cool on the road but switch to V2L once you are there. The car is quite good at looking after itself when using V2L but I'm not so sure that it will handle the 12V so well when parked up.
I don't know if we should call it a normal but it is the first thing my dealer will try if there is anything wrong with the car. I've only had it done once in 2 and a bit years but my dealer suggested I do it myself if anything odd happens again.
Also worth noting - when the car is in that bad...
Take a look at the James Coates videos on line - they run a fleet of MG5s and haven't had any trouble with range loss.
My impression, from what I've seen on here, is that the SR does not suffer quite as badly in the cold weather.
If you have overnight charging on your long trip then I think the...
I've done this as well - It is great for turning on the 360 but also great for turning it off when you need to check the google maps quickly but the car is showing the cameras.
12.1V on the app is a bit low but not too worrying but regularly getting the "avoid parking" message would worry me. It is possible that the 12V battery has a fault and, as fault finding procedures go, replacing the 12V is cheaper than a lot of other things you could do.
One possibility is that...
Definitely not normal. It is possible that they replaced the filter and got something stuck behind it that is catching the fan. Does the sound seem like it is coming from behind the glove box?
Either way I'd take it back and get them to have a listen.
I think that the car confuses the issue slightly because it isn't very strict about sticking to the speed that has been set, which I quite like as it give a smooth experience but It can result in the car coasting along for a bit if it finds itself going too fast.
One slight wrinkle in the system us that my payment was taken by direct debit (for the whole amount) and my dealer wouldn't let me book the service for a date earlier than the direct debit date. I just squeaked in before the warrantee cut off date so all was well but it is something to think about.
There is a steep downhill stretch of the M23 where, if I set the ACC to 70 the car goes into regen mode to keep it under 70. I did also pull in behind a slower car when I had the ACC on and the power meter went negative while the cart matched speeds.
I don't know what is different about our...
My Trophy definitely does regen downhill on ACC. I'll try to take a look the next time the ACC has to slow the car down for other reasons but there would be other things to concentrate on if the ACC is putting on the brakes.
Eco might gain you a couple of extra miles but I don't like what it does to the aircon. Unlike some earlier cars, the trophy uses regen when in cruise control so there's very little reason to not use it. The main determining factors are speed and temperature. At this time of year I get almost...
