With my car's bongs I find it happens more often when the camera display stops updating after I turned a corner.

Do you have the option to display the side camera view when turning set? Does the bong occur when you've turned corner and accelerating away with/without objects to that side?

I had this yesterday in the rain and once before last year in the dry. In both cases the door button beeped but the keyfob button locked the car without complaint. As far as I remember if you leave a door open the car will beep but still lock. It may be this beep was to tell it cannot lock.

With my trial this morning, with and without the radio on, the car did not power up again after shutting down in the car and then getting out.

The car should keep the 12V battery topped up but the circuit failed to work on those two occasions. However the rest of the time it has worked. My 23plate (I assume yours is the same?) 12V battery usually runs between 12.1V and 12.5V when not charging.
