Interesting example in that the website allowed me to renew my tax, which was due to end on 31st March 2025, on the 1st March. The ved checker website states my car is now taxed with a renewal date of 1st April 2026.
Having thought about this it may be that the new rules only apply for those registering/taxing or renewing after the 1st April because the EV car regulations are changing rather than just a tax increase. Will have to see if someone who receives a tax reminder letter has a tax of £0.0 for April...
I know, it looks wrong but currently the tax is not due until April 2026 according to the check site so I'll wait and see. I may have to go the SORN route.
Just done mine. I did not get any 'taxing early' warnings as mentioned at the beginning of this thread and the webpages showed the tax starting in April 2025 but the confirmation email states £0.0 and 12 months so happy. I'll wait a few days to check the database has updated.
On the Trophy home screen there are soft buttons for AA and CP on the left side underneath the weather tile. In my case when connected the AA tile darkens to show it is available to be pressed. (It automatically displays maps when first connected.)
@Rattly,
Could you please provide a link to your internet information so that it can be assessed for accuracy and applicability. It may be that particular motorola phones have an issue or that, as with lorlts of internet information, it is out of date but has persisted.
This will be useful...
No your maths are correct but I think the issue is that the car 'knows' its battery state whereas the Ohme estimates based on the car details it has plus how much it has supplied to determine percentage charge added. Also you must allow for measurement accuracies.
To get 88% charge from...
If you are comparing the Ohme mileage based on energy supplied with that from the car I suspect the answer is that the Ohme EVSE is estimating mileage based on the stated MG4 100% range. [~56.33/61.7 * 280 miles (as shown in my Ohme)].
It sounds as if a short press on the button gives you a 5mph change. Please confirm. (A longer press gives increments of 1mph.)
After SCUK002 the operation of the button was reversed with a short press giving 1mph increments and a long press a 5mph increment. Your car should have had that...
The first thing she should do is to lower the front collision alert sensitivity. It should remain at that level I have mine on medium and had no problems. Others have set on Low.
Also do not use ACC/TJA in places where there are parked cars.
The user manual gives indicative figures for the amount of time it takes to charge to 100% for both battery types and the charging method.
As an aside, has anyone seen the 'Please Slow-charge the Vehicle' message or are we all looking after our batteries?
My Motorola G84 (Android Auto) works but it is a more expensive version than the e range
To see your Android version go to settings/about phone; it should tell you the android version.
On my phone AA is listed under Settings/Apps then See all Apps. See what permissions are set.
