Mine certainly feels like the tyres as I can feel the sensation from steering wheel down to the pedals.....I have mine booked in on 2nd Jan with MG so will see what they will say.
Weirdly enough I drove 48 miles today, along with mixture of roads, speed and acceleration but average speed was 39mph. I started with 71% battery and used 18% in total at 2.5mls/kWh....that was using HVAC but without heated seat/steering wheel.
Im at 53% with 107 range left.
Thanks, I will take a look into that - will raise it with the council first as the kitchen trips occasionally so there is a fault somewhere, even though the wiring is only 6 months old.
Got my MG4 XPower last week and and will be granny charging long term. Used an outdoor weatherproof extension cable (through the window) from Amazon for the first several days by connecting it to a socket in my living room....the circuit for the living room tripped whilst on charge so assuming...
This is what I am currently getting since I got my car last week, even after driving in Snow, ECO, Normal and Sport. I used a fast charger today and driving back home it seemed to fluctuate between 2.6 and 3.3 mi/kWh but went back to around 2 (not really moving at all) later on in the day.
I like them too, especially in contrast to the green....I am also with Tusker so dont want to change anything but tempted to get the black MG back for the front.
Not had anyone photograph yet but had a few looked whilst I was in Asda carpark yet....had some compliments on the colour...
whats the car like going down a small embankment with snow? The car is fine on flats but need to take my mother shopping and wondering whether to risk it? Assuming snow mode and taking it easy down the bank?
tried it myself yesterday too as we had a couple of inches and worked great, especially pulling away from house and then parking into school car park which also had a couple of inches.
The most frustrating part was traffic going 2mph when the main roads werent even that bad!
I dont have a driveway installed so car is on the road outside....I do have an option to put in a driveway at some point but not one that is planned for the next couple of years
An electrician is going to install a double socket with RCD at the front of the house next week....I'm about to order a 15m granny extension from tough leads, so is it worth also getting the in-line RCD on this aswell or should the extension without RCD be fine considering the socket will have it?
Got the XPower on Tuesday but took it on the A19 today whilst travelling to work and definitely getting a vibration which goes from pedal to steering wheel....hoping that this is something MG will fix sooner rather than later.
Yes that could be true but the guy who dropped off the car said they popped some charge on it...unless he said it to make them sound good haha
either way, was done to 29% last night, stuck it on granny charge overnight and its now at 70% after 13 hours...happy with that!
Yes, guy dropped it off and talked me through some of the features....had 45% battery which was good as i had been told when they called me in the morning that MG tend to only charge them to 25%
