I will see if within the next month ScottishPower's system (as they cant provide me with a tariff manually) will offer me one after my car is charging.
I will be carrying passengers, front and back but didnt deter me from buying a 400bhp+ motor haha....they have been prewarned about the power though ;)
Well spoke to their EV charger install team and they did confirm I would need to be on a standard tariff and charger connected for 30 days before offered an EV tariff. However, he did say it was wall charger only and not granny charger, though I am doubtful about that so have moved back to the...
Yes, primarly the reason I bought the XPower was for the power and excitement :)
I dont do many motorway miles, and tend to do more door to door (with some dual carriageways in the mix) so I will get use out of the car....my current lifestyle suits being able to granny charge, with the aim to...
I have a feeling I will certainly not lose the feeling after a couple of months :D
I tend to not go out after 7-8pm on an evening so will likely get 12 hours charge overnight which works for me...unfortunately we tend not to run the washer/tumbler after 12am so not one to include....even if I...
I will be lucky if I do that...I've been averaging about 300 miles a month in my ICE, though I expect this to increase for the first couple of months as I will want to go out in my XPower :)
Hi,
My XPower is being delivered next week and was just wondering if you need to have a home charger installed to move to an EV tariff or can you still move to this tariff with granny charging only?
When I click on 'Get a Quote' on their EV Saver tariff, it gets me to log in again (via email)...
Aye I plan to either charge throughout the day when working from home, or overnight (12+ hours) - I dont plan on letting it get to the low end of the charge (-30) unless on a trip so will just top up a couple of times a week.
Ok - so I am getting an Xpower on lease next week for 4 years. Should I need to worry about charging to 100% considering I wont have it after 4 years?
I plan on granny charging it so I'm thinking of charging to 100% and charge it again the week after. I generally do a lot of round of door...
I will be looking to granny charge when I get my XPower next week - will be using an extension to begin with and will get an outdoor socket with RCD installed to prevent using an extnesion cable.....my house just had a full rewire 6 months ago so should be good.
Neighbour across the road as...
Sometimes its jsut good to rant and get it off your chest :)
Ah man thats a nightmare! Really hope they get it sorted ASAP for you
For my update, after a couple of nudges with the dealer, Tusker and payroll, my car is being delivered on Tuesday 28th November!
Its coming form Stoneacre's...
The Tusker portal has just been updated with the new registration number and VIN - it has a registration date of 4th December.....is this the earliest I can get delivery?
Well.......I got an email back from the dealers to say my car is now in stock and just waiting for Tusker's to authorise it!! :D
Im a bit in shock as was not expecting it this soon!
Well thats a damn shame...this missed the 'k' off the end of my co.uk work email address - took them over a week and couple of chases via Tuskers (didnt know who dealer was at this point) for them to finally send it through.
I have just emailed the Fleet Manager at Stoneacre's on when they...
Yeah the dealer did email me on 10th October to confirm spec, but they put the incorrect date so I only confirmed it last week, so hopefully that hasnt delayed anything....the colour I ordered was the matte green one.
So jealous of both :D - mine is still showing on the Tusker's portal as Awaiting a Build Slot since I ordered on 3rd October.
How long did it wait for you guys before it started progressing?
Stoneacre did say last week that its still on track for them to receive in late January.
