All this talk about the MG3 satnav is doing my head in. How can I tell if my car has up to date maps. Does anyone know the current update reference and where will it show me if mine is out of date. Lastly, does anyone know if MG has issued any updates at all, for any part of the MG3 Hybrid+.

I agree with you Clive. If I'm filling up at the supermarket I shop first, then drive without the seatbelt to the pumps. Also I have reversed without the seatbelt on. Not tried to stop/ start drive without it, as yet.

Hi Italy. They don't tell you that in the blurb. I would assume temperature didn't affect EV's, although I can understand it affecting ICE's during the warming up period, but not once the ICE had reached optimum temp.

I think you may be expecting a bit too much from a heap of metal and plastic, Evor. Even with all its technological gadgets the car can't actually reason or think logical thoughts. Maybe in a few more decades we will have something like Knight Rider on our streets.

My MPG indicator is stuck on 61.4. Has been for a week and doesn't respond to 'Long Press' reset. Any ideas?

It will depend on your age. In my case, 14 years ncd and 56 years accident free driving, I was refused on some sites, even the one I was then with, because of age. I'm now with Admiral, but it cost me £969!

Blimey, Italy! I've never heard of most of those, only TOM TOM and VLC. I use MG navigation, MG phone and music from my usb stick. Oh, I forgot, and classic FM.

I agree with you, why an adapter? It's the work of a second to push the cable into the phone. And, like you say, it charges the phone as well.

Another interesting article, evor, and this again mentions an alternator, although it does say either or. It would seem that different manufacturers use different technology in their hybrids and the only way to find a true description of the MG3+ powertrain would be from MG themselves. But this...
