    What have I done?

Well, the final straw was yesterday, having been promised the day before (Friday) that the sales person (the experienced one, not the kid who started 4 days earlier) would telephone me Saturday morning and walk through each of my points raised, only for him to be a no show🤬...I rang the...

    What have I done?

    (i) I am not asking for the home address and personal details of the previous owner, merely what the situation is as to the disclosure that it was a MG head office, "a Longbridge car", but that changed Dec 2024, if it was an MG HQ car who is the owner now following that V5 entry Dec 2024, would...

    What have I done?

I am 2 hours away from this dealer, so I won't be using them other than to supply the vehicle, but at this rate, I dare say I am in a mind to walk away as there is something not right here. They have even put the advert back up on Autotrader (although the link to their website does not link to...

    What have I done?

Well, several days on from my initial optimism, it would appear that simple questions such as: What are the owner details (who is on the V5) from .GOV site, the last V5 transaction was Dec 2024 - from whom to whom? Can you install all available updates + SC077 before I come to inspect & drive...

    What have I done?

Exactly this, I had gone through the Leaseloco process only to be informed that the listing was in error and there are only Volcano Orange units available at that price, so I declined. To add a bit more "colour" to my opening post, I was looking at this deal as it was only £2000 deposit and 24...

    What have I done?

Interestingly, when I check on the Gov website, it is untaxed (no surprise) but the Date of last V5C Issued was 02nd Dec 2024.......it was only listed on Autotrader 14th Feb 2025......what happened for 2.5 months? Was it sold and has since been rejected? Oh my...my late evening tired brain...

Hi guys,. I am looking at picking my car up this weekend (What have I done?) what is the Latest Software that this should be running ( I expect it should be the latest if it is currently at the MG Dealership?) I will be on the telephone tomorrow to insist it has all the latest updates and...

    What have I done?

Ok, so a long, long time ago (feels a lifetime ago now) I joined this forum and pre-ordered a white Trophy LR. We tracked ships, delivery at ports...all manner of things and 6 months past and after delay upon delay and with a spiralling number of complaining owners (bulges in under trays, oil...

    unreliability survey

Little point having a 7 year warranty if you, more often than not, fail to honour it and charge for the repair. Genuinely shocked with the results and I must say, I think I swerved the right way when I cancelled my order. GL to all those souls still trying to get work done under "warranty".

    MG4 vs approved Tesla M3

I think a lot of EV makers need to wake up and smell the coffee, why price something that prohibits mass adoption? Looks like Mr Musk is once again hunting market share - M3 new now starts at £38790 https://www.tesla.com/en_GB/inventory/new/m3?arrangeby=plh&zip=WA5%209JG&range=0 By no...

    New MG4 Shipment?

Oh no, this is so not what you want or expect paying for a new item as expensive as a new vehicle, I do hope you get it sorted to your satisfaction and if not, walk away, there is a lot of choice these days, deserving of your hard earned cash. it does not cast a positive light on the MG dealer...

    MG4 vs approved Tesla M3

Interesting reaction from Renault, price reduction across the Megan e-tech range? Just seen a launch edition (top of the range) at a main dealer for £35,900 last week these were asking £30-39K Glad I cancelled my trophy order, I think I will sit on the sidelines and see where the market goes.

    MG4 vs approved Tesla M3

And now, Tesla have announced (rather quietly) a big reduction in the price of the Model Y, brand new now starts at £44K The marketplace on Autotrader has a number of private Model Y sales (71 plate) with more than 25K miles on them, asking £45K plus. The car market is about to be shaken yet...

For those looking to collect their MG4 this week…

I guess too new a model to accurately guide a price. One drawback of "value" results in ubiquity and lower residuals
