Not new. Its just the Over the Sea edition in china that is already a few months available, and the "improved" battery range is just because he mentioned CLTC range instead of EU WLTP range. If MG want us to upgrade in the future to a new MG, they should release all systems update campaign.

Still have the star button bug at R59. I don't think we will ever see OTAs, SAIC also removed OTA from the Chinese speces/website. They should release a campaign for all modules update in my opinion.

Not in France, not even in Europe. For me the ELK disable function is new (I didn't have this on R46). Still have one star button that stuck on Regen switch. Feels like 360 camera is less smooth, but ELK/LKA works now good (I did only one drive) I can easily switch lanes without blinkers.

Yes, after all the infotainment is just an Android based system. Like millions of smartphones. Some manufacturers do all modules OTAs but it's not expected from MG because they said at launch that OTA will be only for the infotainment.

In this case yes. The BYD had the same problems as the MG4 like LKA and sudden auto braking. They fix it at OTA update. At the MG i need to go to the dealer which a lot of time refuse to install the fixed software. It's stupid that I have to get into a near-accident situation for them to agree...
