As already said, I don't think they does not come on. I simply want to be able to monitor if and when they come on. I didn't thought I had to stress that I expect no malfunction of my car. It's a beauty, it's a beast and I couldn't be more happy about my car. Peace 🙏

I seem to recall that the clock is on the infotainment, when the infotainment isn't governed by Android Auto or Apple Car Play. In Android Auto the clock is visible at the infotainment. If my above assumption is correct, then you are looking at an Apple Car Play issue. Ie check that as a first...

When you're in android auto, the car is not a part of the equation. The car is just a mirror, all is happening in your phone. Anyway, that's my experience.

Just to be clear. MG does state in the manual that the USB-C port is for charging only. And it does work! "Just" ridiculously poorly LOL

USB-C is for charging only. No data. When saying "charging", don't get too optimistic (modern phones probably won't benefit too much, just saying)
