I've never driven from full to zero, so can't say that specifically, but summertime on highway with AC on I often have a consumption between 14-16 kWh/100km. Assuming I can keep the same level through a full battery that equates to uptil 550km.ie exceeding WLTP which I'm happy about
I know that mine have not been able to be set below 20mph,and as I recall that is also mentioned in my manual. Not a bug I'd say.
However ACC can easily drive the car below that threshold, but you can't set it as required max
Short answer: No
Too slow, too risky, too cumbersome, too, too, too, no I just don't have it in my plans. I do not even own a granny charger. I did for a previous car, and it just took up space in my shed
The guess of a range is somewhat redundant, as it is a guess of what you are going to do, how you are going to do it and under what circumstances you will do this, of which the onboard computer knows very little (as it is about the future ?)

I do not have the specific answer, but I would be surprised if the locks were unlocked within say more than 10 meters, probably more like 2 meters.
You can check it by attaching say 20 meters of string to the key fob, and gently pulling it towards you while pushing the door button.

Go as low as needed, when needed, go to 100% when you need it. For day to day, try keeping it between 20-80%. That's what I do.
PS. I assume you are aware that charging to 100% on a DC charger, takes longer than driving it down to 40% and then add the next 20%.
Usually "function not available" is when you have tapped in too quickly.
To me it has always helped to be patient or tapping home and settings again.
But it sounds like you have tried that?
I am not aware of any "car scanners" that has been approved for android auto. And I doubt it will happen, as the paradigme is not to distract the driver.
That said, I will follow this thread to see what pops up
For the record, I already have an OBD dongle to feed SoC to ABRP
As I hear you (I'm certified 50% deaf!) you don't have a daily communte requirement. I also note you are in the UK, where I've learnt that the only thing worse than the public charger networks are the dealerships (I hope you can tell from the above that I comment in a humorous and sarcastic way...
I don't think it's that much of an issue.
When I DC charge it's mostly on, unless I go for a burger.
When I AC charge it it's on when I start the charge, an off when I lock and leave the car.
PS I'm never in ready mode when I charge
