@Tuareg I cant find a single 12V LiFePo4 battery that will fit the MG4 battery tray ? It also appears LiFePO4 batteries don't work as well In cold temperatures than lead-acid batteries do so not really sure these would work ?

Have you got a link to one that will fit ? I take it the car can charge this type of battery as well ? I’m very keen on changing to a better battery and these seem ideal if there’s some that fit ?

Word of advice for everyone going in for service and having updates done, check DC charging works straight away. I would mention it to dealer before hand as well. Several owners have reported not being able to DC charge after service when some updates having been done

Thanks, how long does the pre heating last or what temp does it heat up to ? Where are you getting battery temps from ?

Am I right in that you can't turn on intelligent heating from the app ?

Don't suppose you know what your car voltage was before the car started topping up the 12V battery.

The Voltage shown in the app and in the car varies throughout the day without any charging taking place so I wouldn't worry to much. The car should top up the 12V battery from the main battery as long as it's not connected to a charger. Also, pre-heating the car will also top up the 12V...

Is it easier going through the interior lights rather than the fuse board for power ?

@QLeo if it makes you feel any better my 1 month old MG4 got its 1st stone chip yesterday, frustrating but always going to happen. Quick touch up and can hardly not it, I still know it’s there lol
