Apparently it takes up to 12 mths to get from the ideas settle to the council approval, before they even start moving dirt .....
So, the world isn't allowed to go to crap before...
The builder has their own house designer and architect and council approval wizard etc. They have already completed a topographical survey, so they can design the house to fit into the block.

In the Wiki thread, scroll down to your model and see if there is a guide to fuses for the heater element. If you can find that, measure the amps running through the fuse circuit and that will tell you if the element is drawing any power .... you can also determine which side of the fuse goes to...

We are building a house that will be two levels high so I can have my workshop beside it with enough height for the motorhome so I can walk around on the roof with a safety harness attached...
The more lease EV's out there, the most s/h EV that will hit the market at the end of the lease period. The more EV's the better the charging infrastructure get until it becomes too expensive to buy or own a petrol car. The second hand car yards will be swamped with petrol cars that no body...

That is more dooms day prepping, I doubt it will come to that, but stocking the shelves with long life products when the price is good, has always been a good investment.
If it did all go to crap, hard copies of practical, easy build projects from scrap parts would be a great investment ...
So, last nights feast was sausages, thin ones, really tasty, bacon, fried up mashed potato, fried tomato, fried white onion and 2 eggs on toast .... What a feast, waiting for the shock from the supermarket when the fridge is restocked :eek:
