    Your day in 3 words.

Ice in the drinks can end up giving you Bali Belly if not made from distilled or quality bottled water. It's all the other wonderful thinks you can catch over there is what has kept me from ever going there ..... blowing the place up with pipe bombs isn't an attraction for me either, a lot of...

Keyfob problem, locked out - fob inside

Well, turns out, the MG set up isn't fool proof, and I was just the fool to prove it. When I managed to lock myself out of the MG4 by locking the car from the drivers side inside switch, then putting the window up, with the fob still inside  the wife eventually returned home and went and...

Does anyone know the peak charging current of the 12V battery?

I thought the same, get them balanced to start with and a passive balancer would keep them that way ..... By passive, you are of course referring turning a resistor into a heat across that cell if it goes above a nominated voltage, most are set at 3.8v and off at 3.45v. Even with them mounted...

    Another "runaway" EV

I've only had it function once in a car parking spot ..... The MG4 thought I was going to hit the car in the spot in front and locked up all 4 wheels .... I thought I hadn't seen sometime like a cement garden surround or similar, the stop was that sharp .... walked around, looked under the car...

Does anyone know the peak charging current of the 12V battery?

Lead acid has worked since it's inception in the 19th century. Built to the quality standards when lead acid was in it's prime, they would last a good 10 yrs. At todays prices, that would be well over $1,000 and be hand built to be small enough to fit in the same lead acid battery position ...
