Buyers Remorse And I Haven't Even Got It Yet

Just as a note on an earlier post, the latest model MG and I< will have OTA updates, but not the earlier MG models ..... this was from the dealer rep who delivered a presentation on the latest MG and IM releases at our state branch meeting of the Australian Electric Vehicle Association ...

Version 2 & 3 look good, do I need to find someone with a 3D printer to make one for me, or does someone sell them on the interweb/evilbay or one of the many Chinese resellers? T1 Terry

    Limiting power?

In Australia, drive by weight is applied to a fair extent as rule 1, unless you drive a BMW of course ...... as you approach the freeway you look over to the right and see what is approaching in the lane you want to merge with ...... if it's a double A trailer or B triple or quad, they have the...

    Limiting power?

I can see the point regarding no warning the throttle response is being reduced, no doubt we have all driven an ICE powered car when planting the foot to overtake and swinging out at the same time so uou don't run into the car in front, only to have complete dead response initially and now you...

    Lamborghini Indicators?

Watched the paid promotion video regarding a cheap diesel v an expensive one, I posted a comment regarding a real life comparison, and it was the opposite of the paid promotion video findings ...... The highest priced item is rarely the best option ........ T1 Terry

There is a breed of sheep popular in Aust that are only breed for their meat, the wool comes off in handfuls or caught on fences or trees ...... We were at one of those friends photo nights, and one of the women is a keen photographer and had all sorts of photos of these sheep and wool tangled...

    Did someone mention winter?

Sounds like a must see ..... One to mess with the mind is District 9, a 2009 film set in South Africa and maximum I guess you'd call it interspecies level bias, where aliens have arrived in earth's orbit and finally emerge as giant prawn type creatures ..... the part that twists the ending is...

I want one with extra cup holders to go in that section that just seems to collect "stuff" and for some reason, the dog always gets one of the cup holders for his water cup ..... T1 Terry

    Limiting power?

I was sort of wondering about using the full potential of an XPower on frosty slippery roads, our poverty pack 51 can get a bit sketchy in the wet, I wouldn't fancy getting heavy footed with it on any road that could have ice on it ..... but maybe our roads aren't quite up to scratch compared to...

    Did someone mention winter?

Is that a re-release of an old movie? Just did a Google search to make sure it was an old movie and not just a book I'd read. Have you watched the 1987 version? Is this 2025 version better? T1 Terry

    Limiting power?

How much to put this suffering XPower in a box and mail it to me :) I'm guess the problem more relates to the UK version not having the heat pump, so the battery isn't being kept up to the required temp for full current draw without damaging it ..... If they ever make a Sodium Ion battery...

1st world problem, think of the sheep who didn't get a choice about their warm coat being cut off them, just so you could go outside  ;) T1 Terry

Happy Birthday from over this side of the globe, Hope you have a wonderful day. Easter over here can still be quite warm if it's an early one, getting a tad cool when it's a late one ..... we leave the sheep to have the lambs here in Aust, not sure about NZ though ;) T1 Terry

    Did someone mention winter?

-1°C at mid day .... do people even go outside during late Autumn to mid Spring .... if we see a minus anything C in the early hrs as the sun is about to make an appearance, going outside is about the last thing on the list ..... fortunately, it's only 2 or 3 mornings a yr .... but we still...

    Heat pumps in the MG4

Ahhh..... that explains why I couldn't see where a frunk would fit that would carry anything much more than a packet of cigarettes and a lighter .... or a spare pair of undies for emergency use if the wife is driving  T1 Terry

    V2L ok indoors?

Might actually double as a garage heater ...... maybe not a good idea in Aust mid summer, but apart from that, any claimed effect on cycle life is yet to be verified, so just hearsay at the moment ...... it does freak the GOM out though, so just be prepared for a massive loss in predictive...
