    Cold weather mileage.

You are pushing the ability of a heat pump to not freeze the ..... in this case, condenser, out in the front of the car @ -5*C because the wind chill factor will pull it down lower as soon as you start driving .... not much heat capability trying to extract a heap of thermal units from a block...

    Hot enough for you?

People live in the Australian topend, they even live here in Mannum ;) Further inland, places like Coober Pedy, they live underground, simply too hot to live on the surface, places like Oonadatta and the Pink Roadhouse, famous for the hottest day at 50.7*C, but heat waves lasting for weeks...

    Production ready solid state battery

How do you have something that is commercially available, but still at the production ready stage? If you watch the advertorial video, note the EV bike promotion is in the same staged facility the Donut talkfest is produced. Not one bit of actual testing is show throughout the whole thing...

Does anyone know the peak charging current of the 12V battery?

What ever you say, you might not always be right, but it does appear you can never be wrong .... good luck in life my friend, life is too short for this sort of nonsense T1 Terry

Does anyone know the peak charging current of the 12V battery?

It could be that I actually work with off grid systems and have done for quite some time. I actually conduct hands on testing rather than form opinions from watching You Tube influencers ...... Knowledge is a two edged sword, a little is far more dangerous than none at all because it makes a...

MG4 powering other stuff (Vehicle to Load aka ‘V2L’)

This is an Australian electrical wiring method reaction to something not powered from the grid through a Powerbox with an earth neutral link active .... it thinks the earth cable conductor connection is broken. I've seen that response on a few chargers plugged into a V2L before. I think it is...

    Another "runaway" EV

So, he was sitting in the car, in drive ..... with his foot on the brake pedal presumably, because it wasn't moving forward :cautious: The chances of the car changing from park to drive and accelerating and the collision detection not functioning .... all at the same time? T1 Terry

    Hot enough for you?

Not as hot, a lot more humidity, and they have the "build up" to the wet season even further up, the humidity is to the point that without 24/7 air conditioning, clothes in cupboards go mouldy because they remain wet, along with the interior of the caravan or motorhome ..... dehumidifiers and...

Does anyone know the peak charging current of the 12V battery?

So, that was very helpful to understand how you go about appraising a cell chemistry, not in the slightest, but rather depend on an influencer to push his bias and not bother to look at the information that influencer provided, like 17.2v would be fully 100%, after settling and actually...

Does anyone know the peak charging current of the 12V battery?

The fact the lead acid battery has such a short life and after 2 yrs, you are at the mercy of the lead acid battery gods, just waiting for a cell to fail .... a 1 in 6 possibility or a battery made as cheap as possible having a cell fail ..... T1 Terry

12V battery drained in 48 hours whilst locked

I'm guessing it would be the same point it stops the V2L, 25% if I remember ...... I can't imagine it has a heap of different low SOC cut offs for each different function. Either the MG smarts has determined the 12v battery is faulty because it can't seem to get it fully charged, or the...

Thank you all. Winning this 7 day challenge is such a wonderful feeling for me .... the temp dropping around 15*C certainly made me a tad more comfortable, but I'm still game to open the door and see how hot it is outside  Margaret has returned early, so the nap turned into a good...
