Just a couple of questions, you said the speed recognition always shows 30mph but in your pictures it is showing 40mph? The speed recognition initially uses map data until the camera recognises any speed sign. So if your map data is corrupted (or set to the wrong country) this may be why your...
This is from 2 years and just over 8,700 miles in my XPower. Using the battery % vs what the chargers say they have delivered has show a difference of 219 kW over 137 charging sessions (108 AC and 29 DC, with 22 to 100%)
From the battery % this is roughly what the useable kW should be in an XPower
Just some history for context. ICE cars were first sold around the 1890's and fuel duty, ironically at 3p/gallon was not introduced until 1909, nerly 10 years later. So it doesn't matter what fuel is used they will always tax you somehow. Even before cars they taxed horses.
It sounds like you have a really bad example of the car and the dealer has been useless in supporting you.
It is surprising that a comparison with any other car of the same spec from the dealer inventory would prove to them your car has faults that need to be rectified and that if they fail the...
One I have seen, not just on an MG but also on a Cupra I went to test drive a few years ago. If you park the car too close to a wall or other obstruction, when the parking sensors fire up they give a fault message. This can also generate secondary fault messages as one system tell others that it...
This is the warranty document from the MG website, you can see what items are covered and for how long. If you can prove there was an issue from the factory or something that was a factory issue caused any current problem then you would also have some cover...
SOS call warning can be down to mobile signal strength when the car starts, if the SOS Sim cannot connect to the mobile network it will flag as a system error. Does it happen in the same location?
That's one of the things you notice with an EV none of this wasted heat energy coming form the engine bay, so the bonnet does not melt snow/ice and there is no stream of warm air on the outside of the windscreen. Also the headlights do not have any heat from behind them to help with melting the...
This Reddit post will confirm it is not just MG and it is done to protect the battery. You might also notice the max MPH is reduced below a certain state of charge, in my car this is below about 15%
I suppose it's articles like this that make people think about heat pumps, but as with most things it is how an individual car will be used that will determine how much value they add.

Not had any issues this week. Only time I have a problem is if the car has not been used for more than 24 hours and goes into deep sleep mode, but that can be cured with an unlock and lock from the key fob from inside the house.
You will also notice that if you are on the MG Pilot screens not all of the sensor systems activate with just a bum on seat, you have to activate the brake pedal to turn everything on. For example you cannot disable the lane keep assist until the brake pedal has been pressed.
I guess if you...
I guess the other thing will have an impact are improvements in energy density. If you can halve the battery weight and store the same amount of energy you will improve efficiency.
The other thing you need to know is that as soon as you turn on pre conditioning (using the iSmart app) the car will light up like a Christmas tree. So if a car with lights on is an issue this may be a problem.
