    Accessing "Digital Records" service history

I think they may use this service in the UK, you need a dealer login. https://www.mgevs.com/threads/mg4-x-power-vibe-hum-65-to-75mph.13777/post-361991

    MG4 X Power Vibe/Hum 65 to 75mph

It looks like MG UK use MotorDat rather than RMI :( https://logon.motordat.com/index.php https://mgdsr.co.uk/pdf/MOTORDAT%20DSR%20User%20Guide.pdf

    MG4 X Power Vibe/Hum 65 to 75mph

As far as I am aware the UK uses the EU site. Am I wrong, what is the URL for the UK site?

    MG4 X Power Vibe/Hum 65 to 75mph

I looked on there for the Service Record for my car. I looked in "Historical maintenance and repair information" using the VIN and it came back with no records. I phoned the dealer and they checked on the system and confirmed the first service details were all there. Am I looking in the wrong...

    Cars you’ve smoked ?

Yes it was, engine remap and induction changes, gearbox remapped, and the haldex remapped to give more AWD bias and haldex clutch pressure increased for the increased power.

    Cars you’ve smoked ?

I'd have been interested to put one up against my Golf R. Draggy put it's 0-60 at 3.3 seconds. Sadly nicked and never seen again.

    Left hand drive headlight

I'd be asking for that lamp to be replaced.

    Left hand drive headlight

This comes up periodically, they are not flat but stepped. The stepped up bit is flat unlike the old lamps on cars that sloped up to the left from the centre (in RHD form). So they are handed for RHD and LHD MG4 Trophies (I don't know about the SE which has different lamps).

MG4 Powering down if you wish to remain seated in the car.

The problem with powering down is the heating goes off, the radio/sound system goes off, shuffle in the driver's seat and it powers on again.

MG4 Powering down if you wish to remain seated in the car.

No. Annoying isn't it. You also get people waiting thinking you are about the leave the space.

Understanding how the interior heating system works

Back to the original question, yes models with a heat pump also have a PTC - used if the heat pump is not meeting demand.

    Slowing down warning messages

It does help with all the warnings that pop-up and disappear in 2 microseconds and don't leave a warning triangle. Never mind all the "dings" that don't even pop-up any message. We just ignore all the warnings now, so they are a bit counterproductive!

I created an AI with all the information on MG4

Being AI though, you may want to double check the answer before snipping any wires

    2nd service

Dealers are telling me that MG have now scrapped the low milage service option. They only offer the single - higher priced - option.

Ohme Home Pro not connecting to Octopus app

You have to create the Ohme account using a username/password, using Google authentication does not work with Octopus. Been there, done that.

    Android (non auto)???????

Are you plugging into the USB-A or the USB-C port in the car? You must use the USB-A port for AA.

Norwegian won in court against MG. Getting his money back for no reverse 4X4.

That question isn't enough though. Any part-time system would have the answer "no", but do have the option of using AWD in reverse. I certainly found the lack of AWD in reverse a surprise when I heard about it. I have never personally heard of a system like this in any other vehicle.

Probably won’t get an MG4 again

Another advantage of RWD is the turning circle can be much smaller (if they design the car right) because the front wheels are not restricted by the drive shaft angles. (plus RWD is just more "fun" - especially if you have an S2000 weekender in the garage :) sideways action whenever you want!)
