Conversly a friend with an EV6 reversed slowly on a narrow road to let another pass the other way and caught a low wall with his rear wheel. Major damage done, a whole new sub-frame and suspension arms had to be fitted. Kia told him the suspension is designed to fail that way to protect the main...
I think the heater heats up pretty quickly, at least it does to demist/defrost. Also, the heater is already "warm" after several minutes demisting/defrosting, but still the cabin heater refuses to "get going" and you sit in the car at around 5°C for a couple of miles!
This didn't happen originally, but I'm not sure when it started. But now after starting the car and driving off the heater does not start-up for several minutes. No fan, nothing. Then it starts normally with the previous settings.
I can even use the demist sitting on the driveway before setting...
Last time I went in with the sagging tray issue they fobbed me off with a "looks normal to us". They also said they would order me a new door handle to fix the button not working - never heard from them again.
I personally think the other way around. You should be able to fast charge (stay a limited time and go) without a parking charge. But if I arrive at a destination, plug into a slow charger and leave it there most of the day until we go home again, then paying a parking fee is fair enough - you'd...
I thought that was one situation where you would use the physical key (flat fob battery). The fob will work with a flat battery if you place it on the key pad. It uses some inductive charge to power it enough to get it to send the code - or that's the theory, I've never tried it!
I don't use the A/C, just make sure the outside air option is enabled (auto mists up like mad as the car has no humidity sensor), and the blow on screen is also selected.
A late reply to earlier posts about navigating to Contacts in Google Maps. You do it "the other way round". Select the contact in Contacts, and click the "directions" button.
The S2000 had the F20C engine, and did (does still, I have one) indeed red line at 9000. When it was made it had higher piston speeds than the F1 cars at the time. I think the older non-turbo VTi's had a B series engine?
Ever since I got mine 18 months ago and heard it was a wrap, I've looked at the edges of the black on mine and thought - it doesn't look like a wrap to me. More like a masked paint edge that has lifted slightly when the tape was peeled.
Who is willing to pick at the edge to be sure?
Ohme say you can force a firmware update check by power cycling the charger. It checks for updates on power up, but presumably also does it periodically.
Ohme sent out an email on the 4th November saying they were rolling out improvements to their chargers over the next two weeks.
My Pro is still on firmware version 2.65, I'd have expected it to increment on the change.
Anybody else seen their charger firmware version change?
My gripe with the app is that you cannot switch on the rear screen/door mirror heaters. Seems like an omission to me.
Heated wheel option missing - meh! It takes no time to warm up anyway, I don't miss that.
I haven't tried it yet, but in the latest release you can now set/control the Ohme charger directly in the Octopus app.
Ah. Not quite! It shows you the charger settings in the Octopus app, but if you try and change either of them it launches the Ohme app!
