    Sainsbury’s rapid chargers

Dawn was pretty pissed off with everyone cutting in front of her last time I was there!

    MG4 Software Update Thread

I don't think the MULAN_EU_HERE_2304_RC.sig file is part of the car system because it contains the map version/date. The 23Q3 zip has MULAN_EU_HERE_23Q3_RC.sig in the mdmanifest.txt file. That file is not in the manifest for the 22Q2 zip, it only appears in the "new" files. I recall the ZS...

    Octopus IGO

The message sounds like Octopus could not talk to your charger for some reason. Was its network connection ok during that time?

Reducing non-Tesla access to the Supercharger network

Isn't the MG SIM multi-network, pretty sure it is? My car gets a good signal when my phone doesn't and my phone uses the Vodafone network I think (talkMobile). Anyway it worked fine with the hotspot at Harrogate when I couldn't get the app to work with the crap signal on my phone.

Reducing non-Tesla access to the Supercharger network

That's where the car hotspot comes in handy - I used it at the Harrogate chargers.

    Parking Charges whilst Charging

I think charging a parking fee for 7kW chargers is fair enough. You are going to be parking there for a long time. We may see the day when significant numbers of parking spaces have 7kW chargers - which in my experience are usually cheaper than high speed chargers - they become just a fixture of...

    Octopus changing its mind.

I have my Android configured to switch the torch on with a double tap on the back.

Moi? It even says on the app "some slots may change to balance the grid" when you look at the schedule.

    12V battery misconception

The PTC is high voltage so it will not have a fuse in the 12V fuse boxes. The one highlighted will be the PTC control system not the heater itself. The seat heaters are 12V, you don't want 400V running through heater elements under your "seat"!

    Charging query (charge terminates early)

Not really - the cause here was a schedule on the car switching off at 6am, but IOG wanted to charge until 7:30. The other thread you quote the Zappi rebooted mid charge and threw a hissy. I know you don't like it, but that's how it works, how it has always worked, and presumably will continue...

    Charging query (charge terminates early)

Do not set a schedule on the car if you are using IOG - they may well be incompatible on many occasions.

    Creak in rear/boot

Me too, I adjusted the bump stops, but the adjustment steps are too large. It was either too tight or too loose. The striker plate had been slapped on at a odd angle. I straighten it up by only adjusting one side. No rattle now.

    Ohme Charging

Mine too, but not because I haven't configured enough charge to fill the battery.

    Ohme Charging

Why would it start earlier? The charger has no idea that you haven't configured enough charge for the car. I'm on IOG too.

    Ohme Charging

When I have not configured enough charge in the Ohme the charger stops at the end of the last scheduled slot even though the car hasn't reached it's limit value.

    Ohme Charging

Normally it's the car that stops the charging as you specify a bit more than required in Ohme to make sure there is enough. The charger knows nothing about the state of charge in the car.

    Octopus changing its mind.

The problem is lots of phone manufacturers put their own modified skins on top of Android, you will have to find out what the secret is for your make of phone. I have Google Pixel phone, so it runs "pure" Android as Google intended and power + vol down has always been the base screen shot...

    Octopus changing its mind.

Android screen shots are normally pressing the power and volume down buttons at the same time.

    BRSK Broadband

Well I switched and got their 500 Mbps service with fixed IP for a couple of quid less than my old ADSL broadband. I actually get 528 up and down. Plus I have IPv6 fully working too. I have a referral link/code if anybody else oop north thinks of trying them.
