    But changing the modes changes the accelerator response curve, so holding a steady position whilst changing modes is meaningless, with each regen setting you will on a different point of the curve.

    Doesn't matter, you need to apply the brake firmly to get past all the regen, whether accelator lifting or initial gentle brake application induced.

    I thought the current plan (proposal, whatever) was that if you had no additional income, then any tax on the pension would be waived? But making the pensioners tax allowance the greater of the SP or the standard personal allowance sounds like the best way forward.

    Maybe, but IOG often sets the max charge rate for some slots lower than 7kW. I guess it would depend on how much extra demand they want to create at any particular time.

    The SE has fixed units in that the low and high adjust as single entity. The Trophy lamps are individually adjustable low & high. The factory high beam adjustment seems to be way off on many cars.

    You need to use the iSmart app - MG do not allow third parties to use the car API. The Ohme will just keep the power switched on for you to use if you wish.
