At least it looks like they have put Drive towards the front and Reverse towards the rear. Unlike the levers in autos, which you pull back to go forwards - who came up with that idea!
For me the MG knob is also the wrong way around (at least for RHD cars) you twist it away from you backwards...
It does put it into P (and locks the transmission) whilst the car is still moving. I have done it (opened the door) whilst the car was rolling slowly to try and look at an obstruction. BANG! A very sudden halt with back wheels locked.
I think that rather than this, and the previous free hours, being meant to be real benefit to the customers (we know the individual benefit is small); they are experiments by Octopus to see what may be achieved in the future in terms of grid balancing and demand management.

From what I remember, there are two different SOC values available over ODB. One looks like the absolute value taking the total battery capacity including the reserved capacity at the top and bottom into the calculation. The other without those reserved values and reflects the usable SOC and...
Yep, I read it, but it wasn't clear which leader board you were referring to. It is now thanks - I don't have the app installed any more, care to post say the top five?

Can you get the gradient from your data? The Dragy only declared results valid if the slope was < 1% - I found it really hard to find a (quiet) road that complied, even on the "flat" Cheshire plain where I live.
On DC charging unlocking doesn't stop mine, but on AC I have noticed it once - but the charge resumed the same session when I touched the start charge button on the car screen.
