The Ohme setting just switches on the power to the car, you need to start the heating in the car settings. The Ohme setting is only really useful for cars that can schedule the heating. For the MG you may as well just use the Max Charge when you need to preheat.

They switched my charger on for the hour, in fact up to 4pm. But I've disconnected as I am already over 80% and don't need the extra charge. I just did it to see what happened.

Unfortunately the X Power wasn't available when I bought my MG4. It replaced my beloved Golf R mk7.5 (still the best version imho), with an engine tune, induction kit, gearbox remap, haldex modified for the extra power. Then some scrotes stole it. The X Power would have similar 0-60 times, but...

If you are on IOG then I think you will still benefit from the hours credit, so long as they can control your charger for that hour.

If you are on IOG you just have to plug in, they may not charge the car at all, but you will be credited with a free hour on your account.

Question for you SIPS/VDS experts. I have had a response from the iSmart support people that I should take my car in to a "workshop" and have the telematics box reset. Is there some sort of reset other than a power cycle which I could myself? Background: They are trying to get my digital key...

I've had lots of problems with the Ecowatt servers today, though they did start working again at one point and I managed to refresh the car status and reenable the digital key - that still doesn't work though, been over a year now.

Mine is also reporting the window state accurately - when the app actually refreshes that is. It was v. unreliable this afternoon. It's handy that it shows the time of the last refresh on the app now.

Not compatible with Intelligent Octopus Go - which may be why I didn't get an invite 😕

You need to refresh the app to get the latest state if something on the car changes independently of the app.

The "active" item is blue. I think it would be better to have just a single icon that changed to reflect the current status - but it has always had the grey/blue icons in the app. The unlock can work either via Bluetooth or via the GSM. Plugged in, not charging
