Let us know if the dongle works ? I had problems tried various cables then a new dongle no luck. Then last month took car for first service mentioned the problem did software updates now dongle works faultlessly. PS Dongle was £4.50 from Ali express.

Depends on what was left in the vehicle by the previous owner/ owners if there's no charging cables you could always try and get the seller to supply one as part of the deal.

First thing I always do is turn off charger at fuse box mine has a separate fuse for this then turn on again. Userley works. If not can you contact the charger manufacturer.

You need to get a software update, mines never done this, but having said that it never did it before.

You ought to have bought the new MGS5 it has a custom button that members your settings. But not on the MG4.
