The leather parts of our trophy appear to be covered in some form of white balm noticeable when kids getting in and out and brushing against the seats and it shows the balm up. Very unsightly.

Looks like it's all down to ads, the 'content creators' get paid for mere mortals watching the ads before/during/after their videos. If the links are used externally it messes with the ads, and the ad impressions aren't logged so they don't get their 2¢ per ad view.

We've been getting between around 1.8-1.9 KW at the car according to iSmart. Was pleasantly surprised. Still slow compared to a dedicated charger, but will do for now.

I mean background when we're home but not cooking, but with TV on etc. Edit: Right now with no-one else home using electric it's 118w background. Edit 2: last week we used 47kwh of electric, without charging the car. Less than 7kwh per day.

We are a family of 4 but aren't big electricity users somehow. We don't use any electrical heating. Our gas usage is lower than average too, mostly. I think background usage according to the smart meter is around 300w/p/h electric. We can probably shift some home usage to the off-peak hours...

I have to say I'm experiencing none of the issues that I've read about on these forums (and expected, because of this) so far.. but so good. Our trophy has performed amazingly all week, the drive and comfort is amazing. Impressed.

@drivethru - their standard tarrifs are in line with the government price cap/guarantee but (location depending) their intelligent Tariff is 40p per kWh day (7p more than the cap) and 10p per kWh for 6 hours overnight - 23p per kWh cheaper than standard. If you decide to switch your supply...
