That's the point that most people miss... The Price! Ya gets what ya pays for! If I had the money, say 40 to 50k I would have probably bought summat else. And that's what it would cost to POSSIBLY get what y'all want. ? Just sayin ?

Charging battery to full on regular basis or allow it to go down to 5 percent before topping up

Hello ? You're going to have to charge again again at some point cos you won't get get home in the middle of winter. I wouldn't worry about charging to 100% as some have already said. I have a 9 year old ev (van) which I use every day, I don't go far in it but I think when it was new it only...

    Nice and Tidy?

Agree, however I think it only charges at around 3kw? And I've wired it to an outside metal waterproof socket from the garage and also checked that doesn't get warm at all. P.s. we've owned an ev since 2017 so have a pod point (dumb wall charger) but have added a zappi to our collection. The...

    Nice and Tidy?

I bought an old, well, 2014 kangoo ze. 2 years ago, it came with its original granny charger and I must Say, it looked well used. I was told that it has always been charged with the granny charger (25k miles) and I still use it to this day! I don't do many miles though.... maybe 50 to 100 a month.

    MG4 Detailing Thread - Other Models/Marques welcome!

Originally I collected the water for a business I started when I retired from piano building. It was a lawn care business that uses a lot of water. The water here is really hard and was clogging up my sprayers. I was always frustrated with washing the car as it was always covered in streaks...

    The 300 mile club ( I wish)

Today we have the car sat on the drive with 326 miles on the gom and what's more..... they're all FREE! from our solar! I have to confess though, my wife does the driving, and even though I swear to do my damn best to be a smoother driver, I can't get the same miles per kW hour ? So I'm...

    The 300 mile club ( I wish)

We actually saw 340 on the gom about 3 weeks ago, ready for our first trip to our holiday home. However, after a 200 mile or so round trip, we had 80 miles left on the gom. Its looking like the average is going to be pretty accurate to the manufacturer predicted 281 miles. ?

Emergency braking on level crossing with no nearby cars

As I've already mentioned, my MG4 has no issues and for the price was and still is I believe the only one that gets 280 miles range. We've actually managed over 300 miles the other week when the weather was warmer etc. The ec4 Citroën only manages 220 miles don't know the price of it.... would...

Emergency braking on level crossing with no nearby cars

I was just saying the other day, cars, even ice cars are more like computers on wheels. Us oldies expect them to work like cars did from not that long ago really ?. When I think back to some of the bangers I've had! Doors opening while going round a roundabout, brake pipes bursting, petrol...
