As mentioned by everyone leaves charge settings to default. High is specifically for heavy loads. No point charging the car with petrol. Might as well use petrol at destination.
140 kph is about 87 mph. I’d expect 30-35 mpg though
We have 2016 Leaf30 and HS Phev. My wife primarily uses the Leaf30 and I use the HS. My wife tends to find issues with the height of the HS (compared to Outlander I had before).
I’m certainly getting a bit annoyed with engine only heating but after 5k miles the car is doing very well
Mileage for me is racking up ?
Of the 5k miles I think 2000 have been Petrol driven.
Just last week I topped up the car ad I needed to go into London possibly twice. That became 4 times. 500+ miles in 10 days. Thankfully EV mode gets used more than not
The shape and weight makes a big difference. Outlander never returned more than 40mpg. HS Phev tends to do better.
Luckily most of my usage is local - today drove to London and back - 75 miles and got 60 mpg equivalent as I was mixing EV mode with Auto
I was thinking of going premium but have needed usage more and again and just last week I did 2x 40 miles and then 2x 60 miles. Luckily I was by Asda and added £30 worth whatever they had lost on Monday
Type 2 is a standard and has a wide adoption and so is CCS which goes well with Type 2. I doubt that will see a change as EU has adopted both as a standard for cars sold.
Who knows what incentives will be in place - as things stand, OLEV grant contribution £350 sends next year.
The thing in...
HS default distance for ACC is good for motorways however for slower moving traffic I tend to dropping it to 2nd. Haven’t see any option of increasing it though I’ll check when I get in the car
Having driven from Cheshunt to Aberdeen and back with a lot of ACC and lane centring it was fun. I haven’t taken to using speed assist but so far so good
