I moved from go to intelligent early in the year and have had no problem moving over or using. One caviate being the octopus app still doesn’t show the charging slots and links straight to the ohme app so I don’t see a revised charging schedule.
No disrespect to the op at all for the following. And I thought it was just the anti EV brigade that continued to muddy the waters. To be fair I think it’s a problem of conveying the relative risk and impacts from research papers in a realistic way to those not deeply entrenched in said...
It sounds like the card is worth a go. Add to the pile I’ve already got, not one of which has actually worked or been useful yet. Electric universe, shell recharge, geniepoint, charge point, I think I’ve got all the jokers ?
I don’t have a card, just set up the account about 6 months ago then added the direct debit a few weeks ago. I didn’t pay for the card as we don’t get up there very often. The guy was very helpful and started the charge remotely after unlocking the account.
I’ve used apple green with no problem before. We had 2 problems on this trip to Edinburgh , the gridserve at Gretna which I had to button to release the car and a ChargePlace Scotland on the way back from Loch Lomond which ended up on a call to helpline. Turned out that because I’d set up an...
We’ve just been up to Edinburgh from Lincolnshire to see my son. I stopped at leeming bar services gridserve, new bank of chargers round the back by the macdonalds. Uninspiring stop but chargers were new and very good.. also found the Gretna green gridserve services problematic on the Tesla...
Just to try answering the initial question on why leaving the battery at 100% isn’t best practise.it’s mainly due to formation of solid electrolyte interfaces which can be accelerated at high states of charge. This “blocks” transference through the membrane to the electrode layer. It can also...
Hi. I noticed today that the front grill on my trophy was open while sat locked in the drive. It’s usually closed s o I’m wondering if it’s stuck. Does anyone know what the control criteria are for opening and closing. Eg ambient or battery temperature?
Took mine in for the lock out software recall and I asked them to check the undertray bulge Oil leak check and dipped beam too low. Very pleasant and helpful but Never heard of it apparently. I told them it’s a known fault. They had a look and mentioned it looks like the fixings are 3 or 4 mm...
I’ll second that. I’ve had an ohme charger for over 2 years on octopus go Which runs out in a few weeks. I was lucky to fix at 5p 4hr slot for 2 years. I’m changing to intelligent as I have storage batteries and move dishwasher, washing machine, battery recharge and car recharge to the cheaper...
I wanted him to link phone and get the sat nav logged in precisely because I’d read of the problems people had getting it linked. As it happened he took 3 attempts on the forecourt before all was sorted. I’d downloaded the manual for a read well before I picked it up. Did the same for the iD3 as...
My dealer spent a good while taking me through screens, binding phone sorting out sat nav as well. baseball cap, 2 key fobs , carpets, diamond ceramics and all the cleaning kit and swapped out granny charger for type 2. No flowers though?
