Doesn't it go off a few seconds after you close and lock the car door? What model do you have?

My Trophy does not do this. I drive in Normal mode, and with ACC, I tend to set the following distance to minimum. Perhaps maximum following distance would be worse? I note the comment from @Tight Git that the Rxx number is irrelevant to ACC - anybody know how to find what version of ACC we've got?

I wouldn't have thought you could overload the brakes or the motor by doing this. The forces involved are way less than stopping from 70 mph (brakes), or accelerating fast up a hill (motor). However, i respect your caution - it's your car, not mine! .

Interesting. All the black areas on my Orange Trophy are pure black - there is no blue tinting anywhere. The roof and the black bit between the spoilers are wrapped - I'm not sure about the rest though.

I can confirm that my Trophy (Nov 2022 import) has dipped beams which are flat - there is no kick-up on the left. This appears to accord with the statement from MG that the lights will be legal in Europe.

Not at Ruxley! I got the message on the app when there were only two cars there, out of a possible 12 (I think). I agree that what you propose would be reasonable, but evidently Tesla needs our money. They only sold 466,140 cars in Q2 2023.
