From experience these glass ones are way easier to apply without any bubbles than the film protectors which are prone to bubbles and/or edges pulling away.
They do a matte one in the glass too.
I think both of these comments have actually answered my own thoughts. Don't necessarily need the...
I like your idea for utilising the original connector and soldering on the crossover. I have just bought the same speakers for my wife's MG4....did you also remove the housing from the actual tweeter itself alongside the crossover or does the tweeter fit in the original driver holding with the...
So as promised, updating the thread here showing the wireless reverse camera affixed to a registration plate frame. I attached the frame to the factory fitted bolt holes instead of the cowboy drilled into the bodywork holes that the dealer did (a story for and from another thread!), this allows...
Sorry, confusing information again here? Our plates have not delaminated (drilled holes through bodywork metal instead of proper mounting bolts), or do you mean 'not only had they they not used the proper mounting points, in addition the front plate delaminated'?
UK Plates do line up with the bolt holes perfectly fine on the MG4, as long as the registration plate is drilled correctly and attached correctly, using nylon bolts.
Yes, brand new.

After our experience yesterday, I cannot recommend Budgen Shrewsbury, at least not whilst they are in the practice of totally ignoring the default threaded bolt holders for the rear registration plate and favouring instead to punch holes through the bodywork instead which left untreated will...
Thanks so far guys for your replies on this matter. I certainly will be sending an email to the MD @ Budgen Motors Shrewsbury very shortly.
Just looking around at many neighbours cars, I reckon it is a commonplace issue that dealers ignore the proper mounting points in preference of using...
Today we picked up my wife's motability lease MG4 SE LR from our local dealer. Not only had it got a paint chip on the tailgate, and a scratch on the driver side door upon inspection (they will have it in to fix), returned home to take off the rear reg plate to affix a registration frame to...
A Type 2 cable if your car is shipped with the granny cable. Reverse camera if an SE model. Speaker upgrade, rain X water repellent for rear screen, dashcam to interior light harness adapter if installing a dashcam.
It is neater, problem for us is that this is our first lease car and we don't want to tap into the reverse tail light cable. The mobile phone shelf without wireless charging is somewhat redundant anyways so this plug and play and easy remove option is good for anyone that is leasing.
Heads up...
We are having our car way earlier than anticipated, 5 weeks instead of the estimated 16 weeks, and collect it a week today.
I am going to get a licence plate holder myself and affix to that to hopefully give enough lettering clearance. I will update with pictures myself in this thread when...
