My Xpower had to be ordered. An initial wait time to delivery was 7 months. Was due about now but was delayed to complications with new EU tariffs. That was sorted out, no more to pay for me since I ordered the car well before they were announced but that delayed my delivery date to March 2025...

For frozen charger flaps or anything else that ices up, simply carry a 12V hair dryer in the car that has a cigarrete lighter adaptor. Cheap and small enough to fit in the glove box. Remove it come spring time.

You don't know why OTA isn't enabled apart from lots of angry supposition. The interface worked well when I demo'd the car so the 'operating system' was also working well.

I would never go with a first year model of any car.

The screen on the Xpower I had a test drive in a few weeks ago had no lag and worked well, did what it was told to do, so no, the MG touchscreen/software isn't 'crap' at all.

A coat of zinc paint will sort those brake hubs, will look like new. Happens to all cars, my BMW E91 had completely rusted hubs after the 1st year of ownership, it was just surface corrosion.

Software updates are applied under warranty if faults are reported/found. That's the experience of two MG4 owners that I know. They've had very few issues and no more than the new ICE cars that they've had in the past.

What's wrong with the car? What faults? You said that your dealer would apply updates if there are faults to fix.
