I owned a MG HS exclusive for a while and wonder is the facelift Trophy much better. Can someone please comment on what are the improvements please.

My local dealer called me back to ask what the recall was and did I have a letter! According to their system my VIN shows no outstanding recalls (22 plate)

Rang dealer after getting recall, more than 4 weeks before they can get it in as the diagnostic or recall work must be done by a master technician. Rubbish in my view as the recall notice to the garage network will detail what is to be checked and rectified in detail any competent technician...

The dealer is wrong. go to car settings "other" and switch off AUTO fold. you can then fold them on the move I can do it on a country lane a 50mph. Mirrors can be a bit prone to needing lub for effective folding it was the same on my MG5.

I have had a very minor scrape on the nearside rear door where I didn't see a concrete planter tub at a crematorium. I have visited three local repair franchises and the reaction was surprising. One said "sorry MG pearlescent paint (white or tri coat) I won't touch as its a nightmare to match"...

Agreed. There is a price point for everything. I think it's just a waste as the feeds are there already. Not saying it's needed above anything else. There is often tech on car to sell them that is never actually used too.

A thought. Many drivers have a forward facing and or rear facing cameras installed. Why do manufactures not make use of the 360 camera system to record to an accessible hard drive or large SD card? The feeds are there for the monitor so should be simple? There could be DPDR or other regulatory...

Hi Miles, Its so hard to tell from pictures, but in your view how does it feel to get in and out of what would be the best comparison car. How low is it, windscreen rake etc. I don't have bad mobility but not keen on dropping in to a seat and my wife for example finds our HS PHEV a bit too high...
