I've a system update available on mine dated 6/10/22. But not sure about updating.... Though I doubt it, wonder is there anywhere with the release notes for these updates

No dealer didn't update anything. He actually said they had an update on their system, but it was tagged "Do not install" Also I presume the update is for just the infotainment system, not anything like battery management etc

Anyone else having problems with the DAB radio? Mine keeps crashing and becomes unresponsive and loses the audio. Only a re-boot brings it back. Also has anyone been brave enough to install the system update?

Hi all Just watched the latest Rev Matchers video on youtube, and he talked about the fact he hadn’t pre heated the battery, but as it was only 8c, that he should have. So is pre heating a thing? And if so at what temperature ? And How?

works for me ok. Though with I-Smart it can be a bit laggy, I’d keep trying

Hi all Well the Black Trophy is now sitting on the driveway :) Very happy with the car Question is, on the I-Smart app I can only find remote control of the AC, on youtube videos I thought I’d seen the option for window defrost as well. Is this only offered when the temperature is below 0?

So today phoned MG insurance.... 30 minutes on the phone, and they we're only able to offer the 5 days free, couldn't actually quote for the year. Same problem, underwriters cant see the model on the database. Will use the 5 days, then looks like I'll be forced to use Admiral :-( NFU still...

Elephant insurance are now quoting, but not cheap at £520. almost double my Mazda CX-5

I’m in the same position with NFU, spoke to them yesterday and they said they’d check with the underwriters. Today they said they wont know anything until Monday.. My dealer has mentioned this insurance issue to the MG rep who visited the showroom today, so hopefully they’ll escalate it.

NFU also couldn’t find any MG4. However their agent on the phone was very good. He’s forwarded the details to their underwriters and will get back to me tomorrow. Others on this forum have been successful with NFU so hopefully will be sorted tomorrow. Also emailed MG directly asking why their...

Hi all I'm new to EVs and MGs. But today managed to bag one of the first in Northern Ireland. Black Trophy. Looking forward to delivery next week. Having issues with insurance, my current insurer wont insure it as not on their system. Trying NFU now.
