    Archev's adventures in the Berlingo

If you're going to have the TV high, the only place to watch it is in bed. You could even have it on the ceiling

    Lane Assist reactivation.

Don't agree, not epic and not every. Certainly some of it isn't good, fit for purpose or down right dangerous. But it is getting better, if you can get the updates. I now, as a matter of routine, disable LKA at startup, then all is bright and cheerful, great fun to drive, best car I've had.

I think the theory that the reset restores the original password makes sense. Can you google how to set the wifi password?

Or perhaps a loose connection, I guess the RAC has tightened it properly, you may not have any more trouble.

    Archev's adventures in the Berlingo

HMM, seems it was something about circular electricity. So yes, it's followed a thread of ever increasing off topicness. Isn't it great!!!!

Key fob not in the car but it can still be driven

Yes I did see 120s flash up, I guess it's a security thing. But I doubt there's a limited number of times you can use it.

    Adventures with MG_Chargerhub

Lots of stuff going round in my head, but there doesn't seem to be anything that will help you. Seems like your new meter has blocked your wifi. Maybe ask the smart meter installer?

Key fob not in the car but it can still be driven

That was after, I'd got into ready mode with the app. Then turned the phone OFF, exited the car and got back in. If I'd turned the phone on again I could have started with the app. You have misread my post.

Car just started up by itself!

years ago, when Holden first had computer control. In the middle of nowhere, (there's a lot of that in Aus). After a long run in the sun, after a short stop, the car wouldn't start. So driver locks car and starts walking, About 10m down the road, he hears the car start. Apparently it was the...

    Energy consumption screen - really?

I'm also puzzled by the energy used screen. Went for a slow cruise today along the beach, before a short trip back on the highway. The main display went down to 11.8kWh/100km. Backed into the garage and it said 12.1. while stationary with aircon off it slowly rose to 12.3, power meter said 0...

Key fob not in the car but it can still be driven

More security tests. Car won't start unless fob is in blue tooth range, so although I can lock and unlock it from a distance, the fob needs to be very close before the car goes into ready. Once started from the app, (I did see something come up about having 120sec) it stays started even with the...

Key fob not in the car but it can still be driven

You surprise me Terry, I thought getting the app would be one of the first things you'd do. It's well worth it. I just did a test with my 51 excite. app unlocks car, sit on seat, foot on brake, press keyless start and you're away. However the car was still in range of the fobs. I need two...

    Which colour shows the dirt?

unless there's a good spoiler on the rear roof, directing air down the back of the car. air is sucked up from underneath the car, with all the dust with it. That's why on an ICE vehicle any rear seal fault is an issue, you can fill the car with carbon monoxide.

    Throttle lag

We've had the "turn on battery heating" thing a few times in 25°C so we just ignore it. Probably an intermitent faulty temp sensor.
