You are welcome, only slight issues is your car may need an update to be able to charge. Give it a go is the only way to find out, if it doesn’t work ask for your car to be updated at MG. I just had mine updated for free during a service but I haven’t tested mine yet but will tomorrow.
Tesla charger open to non Tesla cars, not all but the list is growing and can be up to half the price of other rapids. Best I have had was 7.27kWh in 5 mins. Call Zappi technical support, reboot everything and ensure Zappi is in ECO+ plus mode.
People have had them fitted to their cars for some time now and take them out for service and I haven't seen someone saying my brackets have deformed or melted.
Sorry I misunderstood you and thought public charging was something you wouldn't do. Maybe you could charge at the destination or find a public AC charger within walking distance, I assume no Tesla open chargers on the route?
Is it a lease car?
Schedule the charging for night in the MG app and turn off anything preventing it or duplicate schedules.
39kWh should be just enough for your long trip if above 3.6 miles per kWh. Make sure you keep it topped on the days you don’t make the long trip.
Mine did the flashing for a split second on the motorway too so turned the feature off. It was also dangerous as it would blind people randomly on country roads, not good!
Did you say I must go now as it look like it’s going to rain and you can’t drive it in the rain!
I assume your frunk is mounted to the power distribution unit which has no air or liquid cooling.
