Zero modifications Mine is one of yhe first MG4s sold. It's a Trophy. Last time it happened the AA guy said this can be common on EV's but don't know why.

So twice now I've gone on a 2 week holiday. When I return the car is dead. The 12V battery is completely dead. I make sure I don't open the app and don't have any lights etc on. Surely this isn't right? AA guy says the battery is fine, it's just dead.

I enjoy our MG4...but... I have accepted it was a reasonable price and for that it's our run around, its a good car around country lanes and it flies. Would I buy an MG again? If it wasn't for the niggles with the gear selection, infotainment and app, probably. But, I would be looking...

Just set it to AC current. That way what you plug in determines the current.

I have the same issue. Original trophy model. I have latest updates on car and app. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't, totally random.

I don't understand how they can update software and break such a major function, the app doesn't do that much. You have to question their test team

And now it's failing. So it's completely random. Bloody useless MG again

Does anyone else have this issue. Ours used to be fine, but for the past fee months randomly if you sit down and put your foot on the brake it says ready. You out it I to reverse or drive and it doesn't do anything. You put it into park again, press your foot on the break and it says ready...

So it's started working now, for no reason. Didn't change anything, works whilst plugged in and not plugged in, but I hadn't done anything differently.

So my MG4 Trophy won't remote heat the car. Stopped working since my last car update when it was serviced. Anyone else had the issue? Used to work

So the MG app used to work with our mg4... not perfectly but enough. Now it won't put the heating on remotely, it just says status unknown and setting the max charge rate seems a little random whether it saves or not. I've never got the keyless start to work, I just tend to not bother with it...
