When I recently got a new key for my wife's Ford, it was £15 for a "clone" key off eBay + £75 for the local locksmith to cut the new physical blade, remove the old key from the car ECU and program the new one in. So yes I'd say £350 is a rip off.
I tried it today, maybe slightly better but not really that noticeable. For instance, on the m-way and speed set at 68 mph, came to a slight downhill the speed at the crest was 67 mph, returned to 68 as the down started, then applied the brakes (well regen at 22) down to 66, then accelerated...
SC077 verdict: Lane assist better, but still annoying enough with false detections for me to still switch it off every time. ACC, better, but still Micky Mouse compared to what I'm used to. Ok for motorway use unless it's slightly busy. It is still brake happy on approaching a vehicle in front...
On the MG4 the "dark band" was because the high beams were set way too high (good for spotting owls in the trees though!) and as a result there was a gap between the low beam and high beam patterns. Adjusting the high beam back to horizontal where it should be fixes it.
The experience with MG4 lights is that the factory "adjustment" is pretty rubbish, but on the Trophy the dip and main beam lamps can be adjusted independently to get them correct - there is thread on doing that on here. The SE lamps can only be adjusted as a unit.
Not sure how the ZS lamps are...
I looked on there for the Service Record for my car. I looked in "Historical maintenance and repair information" using the VIN and it came back with no records. I phoned the dealer and they checked on the system and confirmed the first service details were all there.
Am I looking in the wrong...
Yes it was, engine remap and induction changes, gearbox remapped, and the haldex remapped to give more AWD bias and haldex clutch pressure increased for the increased power.
