In my 22 phev info screen there are options for the sensors, I found it annoying when it kept popping up and beeping when in traffic or stopping at traffic lights with a car in front.
Roads around here are rather narrow, I could not avoid a narrow section and a skip lorry clipped my drivers door mirror and smashed the top cover and mirror. I have seen these on ebay but I cannot find out if the Blind spot monitoring system is part of the mirror glass or part of the internal...
My LV Ins on my 2022 Exclusive PHEV for 24/25 was £417.66 the same for 25/26 was £835.40, incl Tints and legal cover. I didn't renew.
The car is ins for 8k miles but in 3 years just over 7k miles in total. I am on OAP, not points, no convictions no claims. I have now renewed with Sainsburys ins...
My PHEV is now 3yrs old with 7k on the clock on full charge now shows 31m but on occasions 30m
Now, is that actually 31 0r 30.99 or the 30 actually 30.99. Does it get rounded up or rounded down.?
It's more beneficial to drive economically. You will get more miles less wear and less stress
I...
I've been thinking of changing my '22 PHEV, (to a '25' version) it has not put a foot wrong. The DAB is fine, I have learnt to adapt to the quirky gearbox, I've turned off most of the distracting safety features. I do not want to have to do that on every trip, it would drive me bonkers.
I ignore...
Just back from the dealer, they have reported that the O/S drain tube was partially blocked and they have blown through to clear it. (I assume by a compressor!)
So that's both sides with blockages. As the down drain tubes are one piece and attached at the top to the sunroof and the O/S bottom is...
Since May and until last night there were no more internal leaks, then last night we had a heavy downpour, this morning there was a puddle of water on my drivers side mat,, directly below the pedals My dealer will have a look at it at the end of the month.
My HS PHEV is a 2022 model, no idea when it was actually made though!
Apart from a few drop outs the AAW has worked fine, when they do I just unplug it then reboot it and all is fine again.
Perhaps you could offer to test it on your model? (y):)
Got my car back, I asked the technician about the dodgy drain tube. He reported that the tube was mostly blocked near the bottom, probably due to the mucky roads and muddy spray from the tyre, which does make sense as the gutters here do get bad. I asked him how they cleared the block, he...
Hi sz00gun. I am near Watford, Hertfordshire and it has actually stopped raining! A possible reason is that the down tube and the top of the the tube is not correctly connected to the drain channel, this may allow some water down the inside of the tube and some down the outside, the inside...
Last night was a torrential down pour so thought I'd better check for leaks. Opened sunroof and carefully poured 60ml water into the drivers side channel. At the front of the channel there are 3 vertical rods by the drain hole that I assume are there to stop any debris.
The water flowed away and...
Anyone identified what the battery actually is? I have read threads where there is some confusion as to what replacement should be bought. Lead Acid or AGM? I would have thought it would be AGM which is more suitable in this type of usage.
I found an open ended spanner that fitted over the center raised part, it makes unscrewing the cap childs play. I keep the spanner in the glovebox but so far it remains unused apart from testing it works!
Thanks Griff. How do you set your destination in W3W? The only option I can see is to set the destination as a W3W location, (which I don't have yet) but not, it seems as a post code. I can set a post code in Waze but cannot find a way to convert this into the W3W format. I am sure there is a...
Hello brainy people.
My Android mobile has both What3Words and Waze. I am not having much luck in getting them play together nicely. I found a post link via Google but that only takes me to the Waze login screen, not the post that might help.
Any suggestions kind people?
Had the same with a BMW 5 series, passenger foot well more like a swimming pool. The dealer found the drain tube going down the A pillar was semi blocked, allowing some water to escape but in heavy rain it escaped in an overflow and ended up in the foot well. They replaced the whole sun-roof...
