Same here - but spoke to technicians at my local dealership and the said to make a warranty claim. Half way through a 2 yr PCP so gonna wait until 6 months before end of finance.

Got down to 2% on MG4SR but my range guessometer was spot on for the entire 210 mile journey so pretty happy at the end of it.

Rear spoiler on my MG4 SE has become dull and watermarked - any remedies recommended?

I've an MG4 and when I have ACC and 1 pedal driving set then regen is active when maintaining speed on down hills on motorway.

Our second car (quadricycle) is a Citroen Ami which I use once or twice a week. Temperature definitely affects it at both ends of the battery's capacity - and the speed limiter (max 28 mph) will allow a downhill speed of up to 45mph because battery braking is non-existant for the first few miles...

I think I can now say that temperature is the critical factor as OPD only comes on after a period of driving/distance travelled. So if it's cold it will take time for OPD to become available. Will now see if pre-heating the battery has an effect.

SOC seams to have little bearing but temp maybe something to consider. Thanks for the advice.

While on the driving screen the message pops up like a dialogue box on a computer. I'll check when the SOC between 75% & 90%. Thanks for your input. .

I usually set to Eco mode but it can happen in normal mode. Have you had the message, white text on black background "Unavailable, low charge power"

Thank you for the responses but it is randomly available/unavailable at all power levels and all driving modes. Will consult the dealer methinks.

Was just getting the hang of OPD when the service failure happened. Interesting about over the air updates, they may well be the new revenue stream for dealer networks/manufacturers to replace the fall in service revenues. Buy/PCP or lease the car but pay for the updates?

Yes it was a response to your post - very positive by the way. I have an MG4 SE standard range 5 weeks old and on the driving screen there is a one pedal button which takes the car to a complete stop and saves on braking hugely. Just occasionally it won't engage. Maybe this will be seen by...
