Recently I received an email from EdF telling me their cheap rate had switched to midnight to 5am regardless of gmt/bst. I have been in discussion with EdF and it looks like that I am being charged premium price between midnight and 1am, I haven’t had the will power to test between 5am to 6am...

So I dropped into the dealer to enquire about some software updates as most of us do from time to time and as I was chatting to the salesperson it was let slip that a new ZS EV model is on the cards, apparently likely to be 2025, they don't think it will make it for 2024.

Got a new phone last week, and blow me if it doesn’t have a soft switch that limits charging to 85% to prolong battery life. :)

Just had a call from a MG dealer, did I want to upgrade my ZS…. Eh, it’s not even 18 months old? You are offering a good financial package, what is the upgrade path? Oh a ZS EV TC without a sunroof? Not sure what this says about the market, do they need more 2nd hand cars or trying to sell more...

I did a quick search but couldn't find anything, has anyone found a good door edge protector for the ZS, it seems that right on the fold of the door above the chrome strip is the bit that seems to be the bit that connects with walls etc and is a prime spot for losing paint?

Just been out and if I need directions on a journey where I don’t need to charge, I normally connect the phone and use Android Auto with Google maps, got a bit of a shock this morning, the car said Google maps is not compatible with Android Auto ? everything else is fine ABRP and Waze fire up...

On a trip from Oxfordshire to Cambridgeshire today, I was spotting MG ZS EV’s managed to spot all the colours apart from Red (couldn’t include the one I was in), heck of a difference from 6 months ago. Didn’t spot any ”4’s”

I was driving back from Wales and around Port Talbot and Cardiff they have reduced speed limits to 50 from 70 with signs saying they have cut the speed limits to cut pollution caused by vehicles, does that mean I can ignore the lower speed limits if I am in a BEV? Just a thought on a Friday...

Ok it is getting colder, but the rattles are increasing in my ZS, I can’t work out if the latest rattle is the unit that has the overhead lights in or the black cover just in front of it that has the USB socket in it, anyone else getting rattles?
