I would like to "second" Perkins. I bought my car from them (unfortunalty they lost the dealership) and have had it serviced by them since getting it. They are a small knolwedgable garage who take pride in what they do. Thankfully they have retained the right to service MGs.

Agreed. I am looking for a second EV but I am not happy with the way MG support their dealers. What should be a simple issue often entails multiple visits to get repairs or updates done. Are other EV makes the same, or is it just MG? P.S. I like my MG4 a lot.

To stop children swallowing button cells some manufacturers put a coating on them that tastes awful. It might be worth scraping the contact surfaces with a knife.

Start the process early. The dealer will need to get MG to agree, then the part has to be sourced.

Whilst a distance from Cambridge, I can reccomend Perkins in Rayne, near Braintree. They are part of a small family owned group, and are an authorised MG service centre. They used to sell MGs, but stopped a little time ago. (As did a number of other garages).

Mine was also replaced under warranty.

Also, why do they have a long blue bar at the top of the screen while in navigation mode, in the direction of travel. It would be much better elsewhere on the screen so you can see further ahead.

Will the speed limiter controls coming in soon (UK) use roadsigns and satnav to determine limits. (AKA Intelligent Speed Assist / ISA). If so MG needs to get this right, highway signs need to be clear, and car maps need to be easily and freely updated.

From fully open, no. I am not tall enough. The last bit possibly, not sure. The crack is on the left hand side, and I am right handed, so I doubt this is connected. Thanks for the idea though.
