My ZS EV is doing great, 3 years of ownership and 48k km on the clock. I think they are the official distributor here, but I suggest you to ask them directly.
Last week mine was serviced at 30K km, 2 years of ownership and SOH is 94.5%.
Software was updated and now I can preheat the battery ? greetings from a nice and warm Costa Rica.
Have you tried to reboot the radio? Hold down the home button for 10 seconds to reboot the infotainment system, the screen goes completely off and the MG logo comes up again.
Some owners have reported similar figures of battery degradation without DC charging their ZS EV Gen1.
IMO, charging cycles could be the main reason for battery degradation and it depends on mileage but also on your driving style, for example, you will get a higher consumption if you drive with...
Here in Costa Rica, a nice ZS EV alternative could be the Maxus Euniq 6: bigger SUV with a 70 kWh pack and 350 km of range (WLTP), the price difference between the Maxus and the facelift ZS EV (edit: SR model) is $1K USD.
So it's ok to rapid charge the ZS EV and charge it to 100%, I've done that since day 1 of ownership, SOH is 95.6% with 21k km on the clock, it's dropping slowly by 0.1% after reaching 96-ish%.
But LFP batteries have a longer lifespan / cycle life.
Also, with LFP batteries you could use 100% battery capacity, because you don't need to keep the SOC between 20%-80%.
