Something else the Dealer told me, ,"Tesla can block cars from using their chargers - the only MG currently able to use them is the 4" ??

They showed me a printout that was meant to show that the charge comes from, and goes to, MG. I complained quite vociferously and got it free. Thank you, Hawkins.

Thanks, Rex. I'll get a chargemap card. I've yet to successfully use a Tesla charger. I spoke to our dealer today who says we don't need an update to use them, just the app so I'll try again before our service next week.

Thanks for that we've had a"blip n go" for years, from our campervan days. Wouldn't be without it. I still get a kick seeing the barrier lift up in front of us! 😃

We've had our 23 ZS long range for about a year, still love it, and are now planning a trip from Cherbourg down to the Dordogne. Any tips re. Tours, charging cards, cost etc would be greatly appreciated.

My wife pulled in too close to a wall and scratched the front wing of our ZS. Can you imagine how pleased I was that it wasn't me? ?

We only have a granny charger which serves us well, most of the time. ZS Trophy LR gen 2. 23 plate. A balancing charge at "granny" rate takes a very long time if we take it down to as near-zero as possible before going up to 100%. Does anyone know, (and I have looked!) if it is necessary to go...

We've been using a granny charger with our ZS since we got her a few months ago. We had an outside socket wired straight to our consumer unit as we'd heard scary stories (friends badly affected their house electrics leaving their charger plugged in for extended periods). We use rapid chargers...

I have a 22 plate ZS trophy LR. We have an MG granny charger which is our only means of charging at home. (Touching wood furiously) it has worked brilliantly for us for the last few months since we got the car. Around 15% charge per night at 9p/kWh. It's a shock when we have to use public...

Here in sunny Cornwall we don't have rain so it's not a problem. ?. To be fair, after an incredibly wet couple of months and driving through torrential rain for a couple of hours at a time more than once ours has stayed remarkably dry. Touch wood.
