Update - I've now completely changed the 12V battery for a new one and the issue is still happening - front MG badge lamp stays on any time the charge flap is closed, but goes off as soon as it is opened.
Update - disconnecting 12V battery for 30 seconds did not seem to immediately solve the issue, however after opening and closing the charging port, the issue is no longer occurring. I've not tried charging again since but will report back after the next charge.
Terry - out of interest did you have any issues with your charger RCBO tripping out before this issue started happening? We had a few interrupted charges, due to a faulty charger RCBO which I've now replaced, but it did mean the charge process cut out a few times from the charger end (hence...
Update: today I put the car on charge and the MG badge doesn't glow or pulse while charging. But when I stop charging and close the port, the light comes back on again!
I think mine is currently at 50% or so. Maybe I'll try disconnecting the 12V battery to reset everything? I'm concerned the car is not going to sleep properly and it's draining the 12V battery.
