    I have been informed by the MG dealer in Cinderford that if I want my dashcam hardwired then I MUST have it done via an MG dealership in order to avoid a problem with my warranty. [ Moderator: "dascam" -> "dashcam". Let us know if dascam is a model name. ]

    Will Halfords fit a dash cam?

    I went to Halfords today to purchase a dash cam for my MGEV only to be told that if they fit it, it would affect my car warranty.

    I have just been to Halfords to purchase a dashcam for my new MGEV only to be told that if they fit it, it would nullify my warranty. Can this be true?
